Raj is patient and very knowledgeable about Gold and other fine metals. I went to several places in Markham and in the city, and his price for my Gold by far the best. I'll definitely recommend him if you are trying to sell your Gold or are looking to get something made. He has talent. No complaints, and I'll be going to him for all my jewelry needs moving forward.

please do not come to this disgusting Tamil store, they are like animals the men here will stare at you from head to toe and lock you in the cage and disrespect you like you are in their country.I came here a few days ago and every men from this shop was standing very close too me as If they will jump if you are a female pls don’t go here alone these men are like animals in this shop and these people working in here will fraud you’re money if you are not a Tamil like them.

Came to Star Gold to sell some old jewelry, Raj was very easy to deal with , not pushy at all. Took the time to explain all the entire process and how gold prices work. He was very genuine and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

First time visit ... met Raj .. personable young man soft spoken and respectful. Patient and answerd all my questions. Left satisfied that i was treated well and pleased with my transaction. On my second visit all of the above, Today bought in a box of costume jewelry and he patiently sorted each item and assessed their value. We made a deal. Since gold prices are currently high, my husband and I went to Star Gold to sell some old jewelry that we had not used in many years. Raj, the salesperson, was friendly and took his time to weigh and examine all pieces before giving us a price. He was very fair in that he suggested we do not sell him our three gold watches because they may be antiques/collector items and we could get a better price at a watch dealer. We felt confident that we got a fair price and that Raj was an honest salesperson.

Well I have to say that Raj is a kind man, you can tell within the first 30 seconds when speaking with him. Over the past 5 years I had purchased lots and lots of gold, silver in ingots and coins. It was worth going to Raj because...1. I got comparibly the same rate as with any major banking institution.2. The bank will only buy back what they sold you, meaning if you purchased gold from one banking institution the other wouldn't buy it back even with the certificate of authenticity.3. You would have to wait 3 business days for the bank to credit your account for gold or silver verification.5. Raj was very obliging without pressure or intimidation, gold is gold silver is silver and whatever the spot price is at the moment is what it is. So you know you're not getting cheated.6. Guess what ? I would've got the same amount from the banks with gas and time travel and would've tormented myself driving to 3 banking institutions, waited in lines then had to wait 3 days for the money to be credited to my accounts. In 30 minutes the deal was agreed and completed seamlessly thanks again for making it right. The web site says it pure like 99.9999 refined

I usually don’t like doing reviews for a place that’s not a food spot but I had to share my thoughts on the level of customer service I received by this precious metals dealer in the east end. I was looking to sell off some old jewellery that has been in the family for decades but I was very hesitant to let it go as I did not want loose a lot money on it. I ended up taking it to Star Gold Refining (I did not know they even did this), the owner explained the whole process of what they do and how they can use my old gold to make whatever I want or use it towards a purchase of ounce bars. The owner was very knowledgeable and treated me with respect and did not force me at all to sell anything. He explained what he can do for me while keeping the value still high and ended up getting a few custom pieces done for my family as well as purchase a gold bar so that I wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of having to refine the gold again. He was kind enough to even throw in a 1 ounce silver coin. The gold bar as well as the silver coin both came with paper work so it can be sold anytime with no issues. He was very generous in offering a service like this so that I wouldn’t be stuck in this position later on down the road. I was looking at selling some jewelery I've had in my possession for years now and with the gold prices being so good at the moment, I decided this would be the best time to let it go.I had called about a dozen jewelers and even went in to to see a few. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me how his process works and tell me exactly what he could offer without even seeing my jewelery.That was enough for me to go and see Raj. Once I got to his store, he was very friendly, polite and professional and we started right where we left off from our call.
