I love it here; the quality of sushi is great-- the rolls are really full and the rice is always soft. They have great sushi selection and the pricing is also very affordable.

First time order take out from this Japanese restaurant. They have very good and fresh sashimi. For sushi, the rice is too mushy, if they can improve this part that would be great. I do not recommend tempura - the dough was not good taste and texture. They gave 2 complimentary miso soups for our first time order. I like their service, very polite and friendly. Price is reasonable. Hope they improve the quality of rice and tempura. We will definitely try once again in future. Overall 3.5 stars.

OMG love their bento box. Sushi is great and the waitress was so friendly. Definitely found a new spot to come to when craving sushi.

This was my second time ordering take-out from here - both were fantastic! You get a good selection with the mixed platter for an amazing price. Sashimi was very fresh and rolls were delicious. It is a bit tucked away but a little gem in Oak Ridges nonetheless!

I'm shocked that a sushi place exists up here in Aurora that has both quality fish and fair prices! Two highlights I had to share: I had a giant, tasty dinner bento box that was only ~$18, and in a sushi combo we ordered, we got semi-fat tuna (Chutoro) that I would have never expected outside ordering it a la carte. I would seriously recommend Takumi for a nice Japanese meal.

today i got the chiarashi don! i ordered takeout at the restaurant and it was ready in about 5-10 minutes since they just opened. the value is so good; 12 slices of assorted sashimi on a bed of sushi rice for just $18.95. with tax it came to around $21.50. it was soooo worth it.the salmon and tuna pieces were INSANE! such thick and fresh cuts that melted in my mouth. it was delicious with soy sauce and the furikake they sprinkled on. i will for sure be back to try their other dons!

I went here with a friend during a snowstorm, the employees were so nice and our server complimented us, the shrimp tempura was amazing and so was the sushi, we ordered the spicy and regular crab rolls. The spicy crab rolls were our favourite and they even went the extra mile and put some crunchy breading in our sushi when we asked for that (even though it doesn’t regularly come with the sushi) and for $22 this place makes it worth your while. Since there was a snowstorm we had to stay inside for a while and the employees were so understanding about it! Will definitely be coming back here.

I decided to try this restaurant because of its glowing reviews. And it's all true!The food is really wonderful! Everything was fresh and tasted delicious!I got a $50 combo, Mango Tango roll and miso soup - everything was AMAZING! Miso soup wasn't a powder premixed soup, like the majority of places would make. Sushi was big, very meaty, less rice and freshly done. Mango Tango is an interesting combination of fruit and fish. My new favorite now.
