Called PipeTech Solutions for a quote on finding a hole in my above ground pool liner. David got back to be very quickly and was extremely honest and helpful in helping me find an economical solution to my problem. Even though we did not end up using their services I would not hesitate to call them again should the need arise.

Call Dave to discuss potential pool leaks. He offered fantastic advice free of charge, none of which resulted in any business to his company. Can’t speak towards their actual inspection services but based on the 1/2hr chat, I would recommend at the very least getting in touch with them.UPDATE - leak was worse than previous years after opening the pool. Dave methodically anaylized areas for potential leaks and ultimately solved the issue in an area not common for leaks. I'm sure others would've given up where Dave made sure the leak not only was found - but FIXED IT!! Some strategic caulking has closed the leak but warrants repairs sometime in the future. Would recommend PipeTech to anyone searching for pool leaks.

Hired Dave from pipe tech to find major leak from swimming pool( 6 inch water loss a day )at $ 675 service call + $75 Travel + $150/hour above first two hours . That is $847.50 with HST just to show upTo detect a massive pool leak , after wasting 12.5 hours, Dave still has to do dye leak test , pressure test of plumbing lines, tracing and and camera inspection. These are the basic tests.I am not as much concerned about the cost, but it is his exploitation of the situationDave has not provided me any paperwork or receipt of the payment( According to Dave ) he logged 12.5 hours. Dave would not tell me what tests he employed during 12.5 hours, where is the leak and his findings.He recommends to change the liner by fall 2022 and to change the plumbing lines because they are destined to fail in next 12-15 years. It does not address the present leak issue.He wanted to come back at additional cost (exploitation) to do Dye test, tracing , camera inspection and pressure testBased on what he achieved in 12.5 hours, it is anybody,s guess, how many hours he would have logged for Dye test, tracing , camera inspection and pressure testDave was training a student who did the leak detection of the liner while Dave did spend long time in the trailer and clean the rust from the pool ladder with steel wool (unrelated to service call) .When I call Pool repair service, they want to know, where is the leak and what tests were done ? Liner (except its age) is in good shape. It is neither thin nor brittle or faded. Dave wants to justify 12.5 hours on this fabricated finding ? We were losing 2 inches a day. Without coming out I spent 45 minutes talking to Dave about our issue. To save money he patiently & with very knowledgeable advice walked me through a process that would eventually find the problem. And voila! He was right! My husband fixed the leak & we saved several hundred dollars. He called a few days later to check up on us & I thanked him for his helpful & expert advice. I strongly support his service & pool knowledge.Thanks again Dave.

I spent two years dealing with substantial water loss. I had another London based pool leak detection company come out six times and preform multiple tests/ repairs during that period, non of which changed the rate of water loss. When they began dodging my calls, I totally felt helpless and began to wonder if the pool was a write off.After looking online for other local repair alternatives I found PipeTech. I called and spoke with Dave who was more then happy to patiently listen to my troubles, concerns, and answer a ton of questions.Dave came out and methodically/ systematically went over the pool until the water loss (which he was able to read in .0001” per hour) was gone with several small repairs around the pool steps.Dave was able to repair in 1 day a problem the other company couldn’t fix in 2 years, six visits, and far to much money.PipeTech’s services aren’t cheap but nothing that good/competent is. My only regret is not calling them first.Thanks again Dave for the fantastic service.

Dave is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. My pool was losing water and he was able to diagnose problems over the phone. I would highly recommend pipe tech solutions.Update: Oct 1, 2021 - My pool is very old (old liner, old plumbing) and I knew sooner or later, another leak would come. Sure enough, late summer, I started losing 3/4 inches per day. I called Pipe Tech, and Dave spent almost an hour on the phone with me. He was able to narrow down where the problem was, and took the time to discuss the options available to me to help save money in the long run. Dave is extremely thorough and generous with his time and I would recommend Pipe Tech to anyone. Thanks again Dave!

We had a bad water leak with our pool. A leaking large body of water is extremely concerning. We contacted Dave and he immediately helped us out. He troubleshooted the issue for us quickly so we could get it resolved.We appreciated his prompt response, expertise and time he spent helping us out. We would highly recommend to anyone having water issues. Great service, very knowledgeable and professional.

10 STARS !!!!!!!If I could rate higher I would. Dave, from Pipetech Solutions, was truly exceptional to deal with. I had a very odd problem with my pump and was fearing the worse. Dave took the time to better understand my problem and was able to trouble shoot the issue all over the phone, saving me time and money. He did it, because he cared. This level of service is so hard to find anymore. He also got back to me when he said he would get back to me (how amazing is that???). If I ever have any future issues, I know who I'm calling first. What a relief to hear from Dave regarding my pool. I need a new liner and he helped me understand what my problem was and how to make my pool even better going forward. Well, I *am* impressed!A slow leak had plagued us over two seasons, so I bit the bullet and called PipeTech. Dave and crew found and fixed a slice in the liner at the bottom of the pool that I would never have found in a million years! I was particularly struck by the bevy of high-tech tools, the accuracy with which those tools determined the exact nature and degree of the leak, and the obvious (and comforting) expert ease with which the tools were wielded. It was comforting to get detailed explanations of what everything was and did, BUT BOTTOM LINE: leak was fixed!Great guys too, if that sort of thing matters to you. Coincidentally, my wife realized Dave and PipeTech had fixed our sewer line 15 years ago with equally fancy equipment and it has never been a problem since!P.S. My grandsons are thrilled to have their" pool back. Now if only I could get it back from them ;-)"
