Kinnikinnick Park
This park has it all; sportfields, clean washrooms, and a water fountain! I've played soccer and softball here since my youth and it has a special place in my heart. Try to say kinnickinnick 5 times real fast!

Good simple hiking/biking trails- colour coded for ease of navigation. Usually max an hour here. Always muddy inthe enter- wear good hikers or gumboots. Summer is dry with nice tacky trails. If you're riding a bike there are some fun simple bridges for kids to learn skills on. The Brown Sugar trail is good for learning tight corners.

This is a fantastic shady park with great running and dog walking trails. Glad to have the best Sunshine Coast guide Pops!

Beautiful forest trails which are all off-leash for your dog. Only the sports fields at the south of the park are leash only. The sports fields have a washroom and water for your dog. You can also walk along the golf course here to Crowston trail which runs from Heritage Road right thru to West Sechelt, also an off-leash trail

A forest, very big and quiet for hiking and maybe biking. I think the best choice is with a dog. Haha

These trails are fairly flat, suitable for people of almost all ages, off leash for dogs, bikes allowed (easy cross country riding). Most of the muddy portions of the trail are covered with small bridges/ boardwalks. Trails are clearly colour coded. I’d suggest taking a photo of the trail map at the entrance in order to be able to navigate while in the trails.

I go here to walk my dog when it's hot because the trees give us a nice shade. I walk here often but I don't get tired of the views.

This is one more of our local treasures. A large, forrest off leash dog park. Numerous, well maintained trails offering all sorts of different habitat. I found this glade of deciduous trees this morning. And saw this beautiful Owl. What a morning walk !!

Great place to enjoy the outdoors. Trails are labeled well with the trails themselves being dry for the most part. Some muddy sections but for the most part dry with planks in sections were there is water.

Off leash dogs permitted. Pink trails seem to be the most travelled. Encountered some spider webs on the less travelled blue and green trails.
