Canada Post

Very poor service, very rude and unprofessional. Will not even look for a package that is not directly in their line of sight or check newly arrived mail. Phone rings picks up and hangs up. This is what our tax dollars are paying for? Fire the office staff and hire someone who enjoys their job and provides actual customer service. I wish I could give a 0 star rating but that's not an option. Very disappointed!

The lady at the counter was super grumpy, unnecessarily rude and generally unfit to work a front counter job where dealing with people is her first and only role. I spoke with the manager as the first grumpy lady was being completely unreasonable. Manager was much nicer, more understanding and accommodating.All in all a terrible experience.

Port Carling Post office - Walked through the doors at 5:00 and the lady at front desk had apparantly" shut down the computer already even though there was a customer right in front of me. Poor customer service. If doors are not locked and it is 5 on the dot then why are you shutting down computers ahead of time."

There are 2 good/helpful employees and one complete nightmare to deal with. We all know the one. Before you can even speak, she is giving you a reason why something can't be done. The only wayshe has kept her job... Unionized. Avoid this location if you can.

The lady everyone is referring to is a NIGHTMARE! She sends mail back even though she knows who you are. many ppl have reported her to head office with nothing done! But lets not forget to give credit where credit is due! The post master Veronica is AMAZING , always goes above and beyond and is always trying to fix Grumpys mistakes. Well done Veronica! You are the reason we keep coming back! And good for you for ALWAYS staying so positive when you have to deal with that negative nancy every day!

Walking into the Port Carling Post Office is like a breath of fresh air, now that the previous Manager has returned! Trying to deal with the so-called manager" of the past 2 yrs - who seemed determined to return everyone's packages back to sender

Staff returns packages without notifying receiver that package has arrived. Extremely rude and unhelpful.

It is rare that I go to this post office and someone is not rude to me. The main issue I am having of late (and this is in addition to how rude they are just picking up a package or submitting a form) is there is no home delivery or community mailbox at my place. So Canada Post support at head office said the policy is they waive the annual fee on PO Boxes in this case. But when I go into this post office I get told unless I have an Ontario drivers license they won't do that, I do not have an Ontario driver license. I contacted Canada Post's head office and they tell me otherwise, but the staff here just says that head office doesn't know anything. The staff at this post office will not show me the policy they are relying on so that I can take that to the head office and determine where the confusion is. It is possible head office gave me incorrect information but the staff here are so rude about it and won't support their statements.

ill never go hear again the lady that works the front desk should have been fired along time ago or they may as well shut right down because they dont want to ever do there job the lady is ignorant refuses to do anything helpful everytime ive walked in there ive had to travel to bracebridge toget what i need done and never have any problems any place else this place is so incompetent don't bother using this business and if you have you will know what I'm talking about

If I could give zero stars I would, but sadly one star is the minimum default. Do not trust these people to handle your packages. They don't deliver for reasons that I have yet to determine, nor do they leave notifications, so you have no way of knowing that you have packages at the post office. Then, they simply return them to the sender when you do not collect them, creating a plethora of confusion and complications. The women who work here are unhelpful, unmotivated and petty. Avoid at all costs. A colossal waste of good tax dollars to employ such insubordinate individuals. It's no wonder Canada Post is going bankrupt...
