Hap's Hungry House
We ordered the eggs Benny soft. My order had hard poached eggs, my friends were medium. The place was busy and when I connected with the waitress, she offered to replace them. Unfortunately time was not in our side. The hash browns were great. Considering how busy they were, I thought the service and time to get the food order in and then to our table was excellent. To bad they couldn't cook the eggs correctly.

Hap's Hungry House
This kind of place used to be common, and now it is unique. There is obviously still a demand for wholesome food, excellent service, and reasonable prices because the place was busy, and the customers were very comfortable with the volume of conversation. Every topic under the sun can be discussed there, and disagreements are enjoyed. It's my kinda place, and there are not too many of them.

I Used to practically live here in the early beginning 2000's. Hadn't been back here until today.... and it was marvelously magical. It hasn't changed a bit in the best possible way. Not even the rooster-riffic" decor!Haps is the very definition of an original Edmonton institution. One of the last of the true authentic home style

Hap's Hungry House
We used to go here quite a bit for breakfast when we lived on the West End and hadn’t been for probably 8-10 years. We were driving past and decided to stop in and remembered how great this place is. They have exceptional service which is both friendly and fast. The food is very good and the restaurant is quite unique. Definitely a superior breakfast alternative to Ricky’s, Denny’s or IHOP, and it is so much cheaper than fancier places like Cora. Hap’s is truly a gem on the west side of Edmonton. Now that we’ve rediscovered it, we will most definitely be coming back :)

F-a-s-t service & love how they leave the coffee canister on you’re table so u don’t have to flag down anyone for refills! Good breakfast special including your choice of toast. Fruit salad was perfect

Being new to Edmonton, we were looking for a great place for breakfast. Found Hap's Hungry House and they did not disappoint! An extremely busy place for a Sunday morning, but we were seated right away! I ordered the half eggs benny - plentiful food for just one benny! And they cooked it to my specifications (soft). My husband ordered the full benny special, again, cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! If you're hungry, please give this place a try. Brie, our server, was fantastic and efficient! We will be back to try other items! Thank you Hap's for fulfilling our hunger!

Very happy with my meal, fast and friendly service, always there to top up my coffee. The pancake, bacon and eggs cooked to order were very good, hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. Reasonable prices, will definitely return.

Very tasty, very reasonably priced little breakfast spot. Area is not the greatest, but it's worth the drive out. My first time having eggs Benedict and I was not disappointed at all. I got the half order with back bacon, and sausages on the side. A half order would have been plenty on its own, as you get lots of home fries. The home fries were not at all greasy, a bit of crunch but soft and fluffy inside. You can also have the home fries with or without green onions which was nice of them to offer.
