Boar's Head Nature Preserve

You do not access this trail were Google Maps shows you on Anchorage Ave. You access behind the Saint Francois De Sales Church on Ragged Point Road. There is a little black arrow pointing the direction to the trail next to the church and right behind the church you will find a sign about the trail. The trail is very well marked thankfully, because with the leaves down it is harder to see. The terrain is up and down and lots of roots to step over in places. We completed in 1hr10min

Nice Woods to have a good hike but it need some love to cut fallen trees thats are fin the path way.

Beautiful trail just found the other day its one of my new favs props to the good people who lug there bigs chainaws all the way in that trail to make your walking experince more comftorable.highly recomend.great spot to picnic on the beach

Fun short hike, it was quike icy today but if you have ice grips and choose your footing carefully you'll be fine.

I didn’t walk the full track today but just wanted to find the trail access. Extremely poorly marked. Worst I’ve ever seen lol. I’ve posted photos that show where you can access the trail. Either go behind the church and look for the tiny black arrows. There is no clear trail start so just head uphill and eventually you’ll see a trail. Or for another entrance walk behind the track and look for the wooden bridge (but note that it’s padlocked at least of March ‘22 so walk behind the fence. Hoping they’ll do some maintenance now winter is over (Eg the bridge has a railing down) and there is some wooden debris nearby. I didn’t make it beyond the access point because of timing today so I can’t speak to the rest of the trail. I didn’t want to give it a bad rating since I didn’t walk the whole thing but I have to take at least one star off for how poorly it’s marked.

Easy trail. Beautiful place.
