MUJI Guildford Town Centre

MUJI at Guildford Town Centre is very clean and welcoming. I received courteous service at the entry and at the cashier's station this morning. The kitchenware department is my favourite place for small storage items, such as a stainles steel chopsticks stand.

Muji : Originated in Japan, now popular in Asia , N. America, Europe & Middle East, they emphasize simple design with minimal packaging, using natural products and recycled materials. They carry household items, clothings, furnitures etc. Depending on the market, items varies in different stores too!Wanted to get some ideas for kitchen & bathroom decor, drove to this location as I believe it is bigger then the one near my home as they may carry more items.Store is well looked after as all items are displayed very nicely and kept very tidy, since we are still under Covid-19, there are sanitizers throughout for customers to use, staffs are all wearing mask for mutual protection.We were very well looked after by the manager on duty at the household item department, she helped us choose the best items and provided us some great ideas as well! Great customer service with a smile ( yes, you can tell even with mask on! ).Great shopping experience!

I always wanna like this place, but I always leave empty handed. It calls me in, but it just doesn't appeal enough to me to buy anything. The clothing usually has a certain shapeless shift style that I don't care for. I love to look at the paper products. Store is always neat and tidy and really well laid out.

We went yesterday and purchase from them 3 shirts +shoesThe price tag on shoes shows $29.99 when we are ready to pay they said the price $49The reason they said the tag they used for price is in US dollar and not Canadian dollars also they refused to adjust the fee even after they admitted is there mistakeSo they refused to adjust $10Even I paid $120 for 3 shirtsI donot think they have customer service so greedy .If we are in Canada and price on all their product in Canadian dollars why the shoes was in US dollars

I love this store. Most of the items are made in Japan. High quality, low prices. Must visit places, if you happen to be in the vicinity.

Love to shop at this location. So clean and tidy. Everytime will buy something. Enjoy spending my time there, but a bit uncomfortable with the salesperson sometimes. They see you as a thief once you step in, both their eyes and body stay close to you. But when you ask them questions about products and stocking, they don’t really know. Then they start to stay far.

I always like to shop in these genuine Japanese stores when i was in Asia. Unlike the shameless Chinese copycat stores happen to open shops in Canada selling counterfeit items, Muji sells what they design and quality is top notch for their moderate price. The Guildford store is huge, have 2 floors coveting from clothing to Furniture to practical household items. I recommend anyone to check out this place

I love this store. Some items seem overpriced, and that is my only complaint.
