Lundy Manor Retirement Residence

I knew from my very first visit to Lundy Manor that it would be the perfect place for my parents to call home. The staff and residents truly made everyone feel like family. My parents settled in quite quickly, embracing their new assisted living environment. The kindness and compassionate care that my mom and dad have received are beyond incredible.

I have been a resident of Lundy Manor for a year. It was not my plan to be here, however, due to my health I could no longer support myself in my home. The transition to a retirement home was not easy for me to do, but the day that I walked through the front doors all my feelings of sadness went away. I immediately felt welcomed as everyone greeted me with a genuine smile on their faces. What’s most impressive about Lundy is that everyone cares about one another.Whenever anyone needs someone or something, everyone is there with open arms to help you. The love and care I receive from the PSW’s and the nursing staff is unmatched, they go above and beyond their call of duty.The kitchen staff do an exceptional job as well. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is oh so tasty. If you like fish and chips, this is the place to be on a Friday night.When you move into Lundy Manor, you can forget about cleaning your room and doing your laundry. It’s full service here and they do a tremendous job.I admire the recreation team here a lot. They put so much time and effort in to keeping the residents busy and entertained. The daily exercise classes are a personal favourite for many of us. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, residents we’re asked to remain in their rooms to prevent the spread of the virus. The recreation team suited up in their PPE and went to the rooms are lead activities and exercises individually.I invite you to imagine the walk to my room, which I am now happy to call my home. During my walk I see many things. The hallways are lined with beautiful paintings. When I step off the elevator there are cabinets full of beautiful China dinnerware. There is a library full of books. There is always easy-sitting chairs along the hallway incase you feel you need to sit and rest. Best of all, the windows look out to a field where you can watch the children playing soccer.If you are looking for a to reside, this is the place to be. You will always find peace, love, fellowship, and care.

Lundy Manor is a special place. When it was time for our mother to move from her condo to a retirement home we visited many in Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. Lundy Manor was our clear choice and not once have we looked back. Lundy Manor is warm and welcoming, cheerful and bright. Daily activities offer something for everyone. There seems to be always something to celebrate. Food is nutritious, plentiful and delicious. But above all, the staff at Lundy Manor are stellar. Every one of them is caring and shows a genuine love and concern for all the residents. There are always smiles. Our mother feels safe and secure and so well taken care of because she knows that someone is always there for her. We highly recommend Lundy Manor. As a family member, you will have peace of mind and as a resident, you will feel that Lundy Manor is your home.

Our mother has enjoyed residing at Lundy Manor for several years. The staff are always kind, compassionate and very helpful.

The true rating of this is actually five stars for the residents of Lundy Manor solely. I unfortunately was let go from my job here several months back due to budget cuts. However, I still hold the residents near and dear to my heart. My wife to be is still employed there and we've always seen the residents as our own grand parents. Today is our wedding day. The residents threw a wedding party for us earlier this week, and though the company wouldn't allow me on the property to attend the party due to policy, I still want to extend a tremendous thank you and I love you to all the residents for remembering me and all the kind words written in the wedding card. Miss you all!

I love Lundy Manor I go into Lundy Manor as a vendor. It is one of my favorite homes to go I to. Staff is helpful and friendly. The Residence are happy friendly and makes you feel like home. I have great assistance when Sense of Bling comes in. It's always nice and clean everyone has a smile. Happy Residence mean its a great place to live. : )

We highly recommend Lundy Manor to any family who is looking for a wonderful residence for their senior loved ones. The staff is superb, friendly, helpful and very approachable. It is labour intensive finding the proper senior's residence for loved ones and we were so elated after contacting Jennifer at Lundy Manor. She was so friendly, kind, down to earth and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend Lundy Manor. The services are great, the facility is well maintained and clean. The seniors are well looked after especially during this dreadful Covid pandemic. We and the residents are continually kept up to date with emails and correspondence. They have taken every precaution to maintain a safe environment. We feel our mother is safe there and we always have a peace of mind that she is well looked after. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and for all you do for our seniors!!!
