The food was delicious and meat was verry tender. It was a great way to spend our Christmas day. Although there where alot of kids running around the members of staff did there best to control the situation, that was the only thing letting down the whole experience. Our waitress was Sharon she was lovely and verry freindly as well as calm and collected even though it was verry stressful. Definitely would rate a 10/10. There are also vegan options and the wait time is verry short despite how busy it was, My favorite thing I had was my dessert the festive crumble. This included a lovely and thick custard with a punchy strong ruhbarb to compliment the sweetness of the apple and everything was clearly made fresh.I will definitely be comming here again- ash

The restaurant was fairly empty when we went yesterday, but we were still sat directly by what I can only describe as a rough family, who were talking loudly about sha*ging birds and laughing loudly about it. I'm all for a laugh, but not when it's in my ear at a stupid level in the middle of the day.Walking back to the table with our food, we had a lovely view of their backsides hanging out of their trousers.The food wasn't the best, there wasn't much selection out and what was there was stale.Can't say I would go back here.o

I loved it so much! My first time there with my family and staff were so kind and welcoming. Food was excellent and prices are so reasonable for the amount you get. Everybody enjoyed it and we definitely will be coming back. Thank you!

Service was very good, was a little early but they managed to get us seated. The lady that served our table was lovely and the food was delicious. Had a selection of 4 meats and lots of vegetables to choose from as well as huge Yorkshire puddings, and macaroni cheese

Excellent place to eat, gets busy. Make sure you make reservations for Sunday roast. They do walk-ins, might have to wait a bit. The service was very exceptional!

Dear Toby Carvery team,I have just left the restaurant and i am absolutely disgusted the way you have treated my family. My mum who has been really ill from last 2 weeks came out to your restaurant and was given food with hair cooked inside the pie. The manager was called and instead of apologising he used term “ I will just take that off the bill” and he could see my mum was feeling really sick and my brother getting really upset looking at my mum being sick because of food hiegiene. Followed onto when we went to discuss the issue with manager the staff on shop floor who had no knowledge of issue seeing us upset told us to get out and leave and never to come back. I challenged her stating my mum had not said a word to anyone while shes being sick your colleague telling her to get out. Your manager instead of looking at way to ease situation charged us full bill except the pie, bare in mind we left all our food in middle along with drinks. I am absolutely disgusted with this service and would like an email or response from head office. I will be sending this same email to your head office.I would recommend everyone not to go to this unhygienic and incompetent managed restaurant.Manager’s name: FinnenServer from shop floor- who swore and told my family to get out did not give her name and finen refused to give her name as well.

The roasts were absolutely spot on. It’s not the newest of buildings but the food is brilliant and the service is fantastic. We had two ladies look after us,Sharon and Angela and there were brilliant and very attentive. Will definitely be returning. Thanks

Amazing service from Sharon. Me and my friend visited and was made to feel more than welcome, was very prompt with the drinks and the order! I even got her to surprise me with a dessert and she chose a brownie! Which was 10/10 but what really made it was the service. Sharon is an absolute credit to Toby!

My wife and I shared the experience with 3 visitors from the USA, they loved it. We described the carvery roast meal as 'Similar to a home cooked Sunday family meal but with a choice of carvery meats to choose from' They couldn't stop talking about it. Well done Toby
