Thorough and impressive.From the start we felt comfortable that we had selected a solid trust worthy landscaping contractor. We met with Kevin at our home to discuss our ideas. This was a new build and a complete blank slate.Within a few days he returned a high-level site landscaping plan based on our conversation that nailed it - at no cost! Once we agreed to work together further discussions led to a 3D video rendering of the site. We had extensive hardscaping including three retention walls due to the slope of our property. Everything from the patios to the smallest shrubs were included in the video. Basically, that site plan and video became what you see is what you will get".It didn't take long once the project started on site to realize how professional and determined the crew was. Total attention to detail. Polite and communicative. They ensured neighbors were aware of any use of their yards (all awaiting their own landscaping). The work was completed on budget during a heatwave in June. Each day the street was left organized and clean. We used Classic Landscapes to design & build our new yard in East St Paul. Kevin and the crew were great, offering suggestions and completing the project on time and on budget. We love our new yard and can not wait for summer nights with family and friends around our firepit.

We cannot say enough good things about Classic Landscapes! It's the second time we've used them and both experiences have been wonderful! This time, they helped us create the backyard space of our dreams. Kevin sat down with us to determine exactly what we wanted, he provided us with a very-well designed plan with an exact cost proposal. His expertise was felt throughout the entire project. The process of creating our backyard from a blank slate to what we wanted was smooth, extremely efficient, focused, and exactly as we had asked. Their expertise, work ethic, honesty, reliability and price for quality of work and plants received was exceptional. I am extremely pleased with Classic Landscapes! I chose Classic Landscapes due to reviews online. Kevin arrived when promised, and when our project was delayed due to weather, he communicated with us. His crew has a work ethic that seems to be a missing commodity! The team was always on time when they said they would be onsite, polite and worked super hard in the scorching or rainy weather. His team cleaned up every day even when our yard was in transition. Kevin communicated with me each day of the project and he raised any concerns or questions immediately. We did have a couple of issues that needed resolving; and it was how Kevin handled them that impressed me. He owned the mistake and made it right without having to 'argue' for it. He also was not ready to close our project until we were 100% satisfied. This even meant he came back to address a couple of my 'fussy' requests. I was grateful for his honesty and integrity. It is apparent that Kevin leads by example and his crew follows suit. I was nervous with not seeing a 3D Plan/Design until about 3 weeks out from our start date, but Kevin had pretty much nailed my vision of what I was looking for. He was receptive to my suggestions for change in the design, and educated me when my vision would not work, rather than just saying 'no'. His estimate of time to complete and budget was bang on with no surprises. I would highly recommend Classic Landscapes. The transformation of our yard was better than I had hoped!

This company does amazing work . Very professional. Went beyond our expectations of the job at hand. They uped the level of quality for Tourand creek. Kevin's team leader Nick, is an amazing worker. I came across Classic Landscapes on Instagram, and the experience from beginning to end was great, and I could not have been any happier.Kevin (owner) was knowledgeable, and I valued his opinion and expertise throughout the project. He was patient, helped us through the process and made sure we were comfortable with every detail and decision.The design renders Classic Landscapes offer helped us envision our space. We had no surprises when they were done and were extremely pleased with how everything turned out.One thing to note, I had planned to have the fence post installed before landscaping, but we ran into scheduling issues due to weather. The landscaping team adjusted the work to accommodate the fence post-install. I was happy they worked together without getting in each other's way. Thank you to the crew on-site! You guys were professional and worked hard to get everything done on time.Huge thank you to Kevin! You went above and beyond from staining our fire pit bench to match our outdoor furniture when it arrived and helping drill our house number onto a boulder in the front yard (not part of the contract agreement). It all turned out amazing!

Kevin was extremely helpful from first contact, to design stage to final install. He communicated every step of the way. Highly recommend! Kevin at Classic Landscapes was great! I liked that he was easy to reach when we had questions and overall easy to work with. Kevin was able to take my ideas and put it all together to create a beautiful cohesive design. He is knowledgeable on what worked for our yard and made great suggestions for our design. Great team as well, everyone was very friendly and professional. We are very pleased with our composite deck, fire pit, stone patio and all the details of our backyard. Would highly recommend Classic Landscapes.

Kevin and his team were a pleasure to work with. At the start of the project, we didn't know exactly what we wanted but Kevin came by to look at our space and made some great suggestions and helped us lay out a beautiful design plan within our budget. Before the design plan was finalized and work got started, he respected our additional ideas and/or concerns and adapted the design as appropriate. Kevin was always prompt and clear in his communications with us and we felt like our project was important to him. When the work started, Kevin came by again with his team, ensured that everyone knew the plan and explained how long things were expected to take. The team as a whole did a great job and answered the questions we had while the work was being done. The quality of the final product was fantastic and they also did a wonderful job cleaning up. Kevin came by again before the project was complete to ensure we were happy with everything. After they left, we noticed a stepping stone that was a bit wobbly - we contacted Kevin, who sent one of his guys to fix it the next day. There were also a couple of plants that did not survive and had to be replaced, which was done promptly as well. Kevin also explained how to care for the new trees, plants, shrubs, etc. to ensure we get the most out of them. It was a very pleasant experience working with Kevin and his team and would highly suggest them to anyone in need of landscaping.
