Chartwell Constantia Retirement Residence

Amazing experience at Chartwell Constantia while visiting. When I entered I felt the warmth and energy from the staff and the residents. They were inviting, friendly and extremely helpful answering all my questions. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I was asked to be a clothing vendor at the first Shuk Market at Chartwell Constantia.I’m always welcomed with a smile from the receptionist at the front desk to several staff members (Keren, Ann, Christina Martone and Carol Zweig). They are all very warm and friendly. When speaking to the residents and watching the staff interact with them they are always very professional and caring.I highly recommend Chartwell Constantia as a wonderful and friendly place to be.

I have been going there to visit my mother for the last 6 years. When she first moved in, they had table cloths, fabric napkins and wrapped their cutlery. This all changed with the onset of the COVID pandemic. It would be welcome again!They do have fabulous staff and recently hired a new chef named Omar and a kitchen manager. The food quality and presentation has improved tremendously. Carol the business manager and Yossi the building custodian are both outstanding, compassionate team members. Overall it offers good value and a high level of care. I highly recommend it.

I have been working as a Yoga instructor with Constantia Retirement Residence for almost 4 years. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and management has been very informative and supportive to me. Facility is always clean. I get to have lots of props and tools for my yoga activities. I went for a tour and was treated with kindness and respect. The home was so inviting, clean and homey. The residents that I saw were happy. The process of inquiry was easy. The employee was patient and answered all of my questions. A follow up email was sent right away and a few days later there was another one to ask if we required any help or clarification. Such good service

I have the pleasure of entertaining the residents of Constantia over the years! They are lovely people who make me feel welcome every time! I can tell that they are very happy to be living at Constantia! The staff is very professional and caring! One can see they have a great relationship with the residents! Constantia is one of the finest homes I've had the pleasure of visiting!

The manager called me to do an interview, asked me for a TB test and told me to call her when I got the results. I had the test ($130 for the first doctor visit + $25 for the first test step + $130 for the second visit + $25 for the second test step). The price of the test was a total of 310 dollars. I tried to locate the girl by calling her on the phone to tell her that I had already done the test that she requested and it had a negative result. I called 13 times in four days, left voicemails and she didn’t answer. At the end I went to her residence in person to talk to her. She asked me for another document and I asked her to please explain to me what that document was about because I did not know it. She told me that she was a very busy woman and that she could not attend to me. I spent money that she did not have to give me a test that I did not need and she did not attend me. She has laughed at me and that is being a very bad person. Beware of people who want to throw here to work.

I was recently at an event at Constantia. I was very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. I saw some people that I have not seen for many years who now reside at Constantia and they told me how happy they were and how wonderful a place it is. Prior to this event, I toured the residence. I was very impressed with the size of the rooms, the amount of programs offered daily and the warm, homelike feeling in all the common areas.

My company has been providing entertainment for Chartwell Constantia residence for 7 years now. The professional level and commitment of the recreation managers is remarkable, and the residents themselves are always friendly and engaged.
