We attended Sawmill for Dinner. Needless to say it was disappointing overall. Initially, the waitress brought us drink menus to decide what beverages we’d like. We then waited approximately 20 minutes for the waitress to return and take our order. And, that was only after I mentioned to a waiter/host, that we were ready to order. Even after mentioning it, we still waited approximately 10 minutes.The Kobe burgers did not taste like Kobe beef at all. Whether or not a blend was used, we will never know. But, these burgers tasted like regular beef burgers that were over cooked. We have had Kobe burgers, at other restaurants, that were outstanding and are familiar with the flavour, texture etc.The Ponzu Salmon was dry and over cooked. The sprouts were charred to the point of being dry, crispy and having a burnt taste.The wine and beer selection is very limited and could definitely use some additions.The Grizzly Bear was excellent. I would recommend that liquor coffee.I’d definitely say this restaurant has potential and could be a hit if some key issues were addressed.

Service was really great. Food came super fast. I had the smoked pork chop and it didn’t disappoint. Local Leduc beer on tap made for a lovely evening.

Steak was perfectly cooked. Server was awesome and kind. Not many options for dessert. Steak sauce was soooo good.

If you can, sit in the lounge is Jody’s section! Good was brought out right, fresh and hot! Drinks were promptly filled up and we had fun chatting her up while enjoying our evening out.

I thought the food here was great! Very filling and they give you wonderful portions. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and always tended to the needs of the customers! While I would appreciate a bigger selection of food I thought that what I had ordered was great!

went to the restaurant today to celebrate my dads birthday, when they brought to us the food they forgot a few of our items.. also my dad must have had a miscommunication with the waiter or something but he made a slight comment of the prime rib not being cooked to what he had asked for and the size of the prime rib wasn’t right either. So he had asked for a new one & they had brought it to him. Later to find out when my in-law went to the washroom the staff were gossiping and complaining about us and my dad. not the type of place we’d want to go to celebrate a birthday again, that’s for sure.

The tea cups were dirty, even though I showed the waitress that I could rub the stain off with a damp thumb and some pressure. It's flu and covid days, please thoroughly clean and sanitize. And I have no idea how 3 ounces of untrimmed fat made it to my plate. Someone needs to expedite a little more thoroughly

Food was decent (prime rib) but pricey for the quality. Vegetables were undercooked.Service was slow and unorganized. Had four different waitresses and waited a long time even though the restaurant was almost empty. They were doing their best but definitely didn't feel like anyone was in charge there.Not sure I'd go back to that location.

Some of the best wings I have had in Canada.The service was on point.Beer selection was wide and the server certainly knew what she was doing.The Bacon chicken wings were amazing .

My husband and I went for date night. Sat in the lounge area. I feel me being a girl may have put a damper on our service. Tables filled with men had the best. Us, nope. We sat without drinks for 10-20 minutes. Then our food our took just as long to be taken. Food was good. But unless you’re a man, I do not recommend the lounge.
