Garry Point Park
Beautiful park to hang out! I’d love to come back again. It’s pretty big. My mom fell asleep on the grass for a good one hour in a lovely sunny day. It’s a very peaceful place!

This one a nice park.Lots of pink sakuras here.Cherry blossom is very pretty here surrounding the whole park. There’s small beaches and a small pier nearby. Also, a small Japanese themed garden is there but the pond was dry when I visited.I guess it would be a good spot for hanging out with kids and family in summer.Parking is free and washrooms available.

Such a beautiful park with lovely cherry blossom trees and sea view. Perfect place for a weekend picnic! This park has a beautiful view of sea and lovely walkway for jogging, running, walking or cycling. Dogs can be brought along with a leash. This park is in Greater Vancouver Area - Richmond, BC, Canada. Long green grass spreads with mountain View. This is a perfect spot of a mountain and sea view at the same place. I went here with my partner and we had lots of fun clicking pictures with the cherry blossom trees. This place has super clean and well maintained washrooms for ladies and gents with toilet paper and soap. There is enough space for every body to enjoy and didn't seem to be very crowded. It's a kids friendly place, I noticed many couples brought their toddlers and young kids along to play in the park.I can't wait to take my parents to this place, they will really enjoy a nice picnic here on a sunny day. I have already recommending this place to my friends who also love nature like me.Plan to go to this place ASAP so that you don't miss the cherry blossom trees! I will definitely go there again.

Garry Point Park
A large and pretty park right on the bank of the Fraser River. It can be quite windy and chilly at times, although the conditions are great for kite-flying! There is lots of grass for dogs and kids to run around on, and the beach produces amazing driftwood.

This is a must visit place in Richmond. The Fraser river view on the front and the rocky mountain view on the back is amazing. Plus the cherry blossom is a bonus add on. Those cherry in summer looks so beautiful.

There’s a gravel trail around the park. A nice fine grain sand beach. No sea shells. Found a crab leg. Turning over some rocks you can find tiny crustaceans. Lots of drift wood and logs to play and sit on. Tide was low today but can be high which would cover the beach. The field is great for flying kites. There are trees around the edge near the parking lot for picnics. There’s a small Japanese rock garden and a fast food shack with washrooms. If parking fills up you can park along the street just outside the park for free. Unless there’s an event you shouldn’t have to go too far.The park leads onto the west dike trail. There is no playground, you have to go to Steveston playground.

One of my favourite spots to hang out at - It’s well maintained, clean, and there are always spots to sit at in front of the waters. It’s always so relaxing and the views are beautiful!

Best park for cherry blossom. It’s heaven in April month. Also has lots of parking space with solar electric charging station for your car. Ocean view to enjoy the sunset. Overall worth to go.

My Favourite place is Garry Point Park. This is the most beautiful park in our area. The sloshy waves that crash on the beaches. I go to the park every day in the evening and in the morning. I go for a walk in the park. There are many flowers and trees in this park. Many people come to this park from far away. I also swim in the park with my friends in the evening. By coming here the fatigue of the mind is removed. I love spending my time in this park.
