Canada Moving

This is the 2nd time we have used Canada Moving and we are extremely happy with how the move was managed from start to finish. The fellow that drove the huge truck went above and beyond to deliver our belongings on the targeted date rather than doing an in city transfer which would have cost us another 1000.00 for hotels, lodging, food etc. the crew dealt with a cold driving rain then when we got the elevator onto service mode, the elevator encountered a problem that rendered it unavailable so the guys began delivering our goods up 4 stories via the stairs! Unbelievable that they did this without uttering one complaint!!Offer these hard working souls a hand and be generous. The young guys that moved our belongings did so with smiles on their faces and make 16.00 an hour! Yeah, we tipped everyone of the workers as well as the driver!!

Tried to work with Brandon location to move from Rivers to Portage La Prairie. We were called not even 24hrs before scheduled pickup. Quote was well over original price, dispatcher was screaming at us on the phone constantly telling us if we didn't like his new quote that he would cancel. He denied the rates that he quoted us originally over the phone (we wrote it down and went over it more than once with him) refused to provide a paper quote, and take it or leave it with the new rates. Refused to speak properly and continued to yell and yell. Whole conversation could be heard without having to put on speaker.We called back to advise we found another company to move us that wasn't going to treat their customers like this in the last hours before scheduled moving.We are completely disgusted by the service from this dispatcher/ rater and how they figured they could just treat people like this within hours of moving.It may work on others where they will just pay it, cause they have to move. Luckily a couple calls around and we found a far superior company to move that doesn't charge by the hour and jack their prices in the final hours, thinking that the people will just pay it. I feel sorry for anyone that has had this happen to them. Buyer beware

Amazing company. I had another company cancel the day before my move Canadian Moving came to the rescue! They were fast, efficient and courteous! Would recommend these guys in a heart beat!

By far the best moving experience I had. As a military member, we tend to move a lot. I thought I had it good until they moved me from shilo to Ontario. Professional, on time, courteous, and friendly.

Worst moving company I've ever dealt with by far, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU WANT THE STUFF YOU WORKED HARD FOR DAMAGED . I cannot tell you how many items of ours are missing or damaged or completely broke. On pack up as well they had little care as well as they accidentally smashed a few dishes. Almost all of our furniture, dressers,night stands, entertainment stands, and liquor cabinets are all damaged. And extremely scratched, missing paint, our office desk has screws snapped off inside the desk making it so we can't even put it back together in a sturdy manner. Almost looks like someone purposely did that . before we moved all of these were in like new condition and now ruined with bad marks and damage. Our office chair has a huge gash down the back of it. 3 Tupperware glass containers all chipped. 3 wine glasses chipped and now our set is missing 3. Our glass set has 2 cups chipped now our set is missing them. Our kitchen knife set is missing a steak knife so we need to replace that . We bought brand new tea towels before the move. And once they get unpacked they are now covered In a mysterious yellow fluid and ruined now. All of our clothes smell horrible and some have mold on them. On top of that these workers they employ have no sense of pride for their work, they do half fast jobs and don't take the time to properly do the job with zero sense of pride and ownership when it comes to work. Poor work ethic as well they constantly took smoke breaks and asked us to get tim Horton for them. lazy unethical and highly not recommended as I don't want another person to be screwed like me and my fiance were. I added a few pictures but there is so much more that these people damaged that I did not attach. If anyone needs more pictures I'm more than happy to send all the pictures, it's a disgrace to watch the things we worked so hard for to be shown such little care and disregard for , it's tragic also I believe they work with united van lines who is equally to blame for this.Not able to find me is because I use a shortened name for safety purposes on the internet.
