I was excited to try this place as soon as I saw it opened but was pretty disappointed after visiting. Although the interior was well designed and clean, the wait for the food took excessively long considering there was only four guest in total, including me. Furthermore, the soup broth tasted bland yet overly salty and the waiter was surprisingly rude as if we were getting in his way. I hoped this could be a new ramen spot but the ramen chain behind them; Ajisen Ramen, is better in price, service and quality between the two.

Flavorful broth and perfect textured ramen plus pork! I usually don’t eat a lot of ramen because most are very salty and I end up extremely thirsty after. However ramen from misoya doesn’t have those negative effects! That tells me their broth is very legit! I highly recommend! Customer service was very good as well! When it’s busy packed some orders take a little longer but the quality of the food is worth waiting for! Keep it up!

Would definitely recommend the takoyaki but the ramen was nothing special. The broth soaked in the bitterness of the char on the chashu and was overall not enjoyable. There was also a long wait time (over 40 minutes) before we received any of our food.

Came here Sunday for lunch. There were not many people and we didn’t have to wait to get seated. Food arrived quickly and the ramen broth (for both golden kome and silver shiro) are a bit salty for me. I prefer Silver Shiro because it’s lighter and less salty. The tempura was one of the best I’ve had, and the cha-shu was well seasoned. Lastly, the chicken karaage is average. I recommend the tempura (fried shrimp) and cha-shu.

Food was alright, but I am not returning for the passive-aggressive customer service.It came to me as a surprise that the menu does not have written description of the differences of each ramen. When I asked the server the differences between two ramen, he rudely answered “Just look at the picture. What you see is what you will get.” After I finally decided on one, the server asked if I wanted to add an egg, I questioned if it was included, he then said “No it doesn’t, that’s why I asked.” My friends and myself, the four of us, were the only table there. If it was busy, I get it. But it wasn’t.I ordered the Silver Ramen and it was okay. The chashu was grilled which I found surprising. It was fragrant, however, it was overcooked to a point where it was dry and rough.I for one will not come back for this kind of service.

I like this traditional Japanese ramen very much. The taste is very good. The meat is very large. I didn’t finish it in the end. It was a pity that I couldn’t eat it in the restaurant this time. The restaurant is well decorated and very clean. I will come next time. .

The flavour of the ramen was good and I really liked the miso eggs, but the chashu was fairly bitter from the char and eventually made the broth bitter as well the longer it sat. We waited around 30 minutes to receive 2/3 of our appetizers and maybe another 15 for the ramen, and we had to ask for our 3rd appetizer later on. I really liked the takoyaki but the gyoza and chicken karaage were just okay flavour-wise. They might have been short staffed this day, but I’ve heard good things about their Queen St W location so I’d be willing to try again.

A decent choice for ramen that covers all the essentials well. I would prefer the broth to be much hotter and the lunch combo gyoza/drink is forgettable. The fried tofu is surprisingly satisfying.

The environment of the restaurant is clean, but the tableware is a bit old, especially the chopsticks. The food looks good, but the taste is bland. The fried chicken and pork chop are too dry, seems overcooked.

Best chasu, it's the traditional belly then torched, not sous vide!Love the ramen thickness and texture, I still ask for harder noodles thoToppings:I like that they fried the cabbage in the ramen. Egg is good! I love bamboo shoots but theirs isn't that great.Special toppings they put fried tofu on silver, which I love; and potato wedge on gold, which my nieces love!Broth:I find the gold and tantan too strong for me so I always go with the lightest silver"Takes longer to cook as they cook to order
