B & T's Hopetown General Store

This is the heart of Hopetown and this location has heart. The owners and staff are just so warm and welcoming, made me feel right at home. B&T's has everything you would need or want. Thank you so much for every transaction is a pleasure!

Looks a little sketchy & run-down from the outside, but as soon as you step in, it's amazing! The staff are wonderful, & they have anything you might need (bolts, string, gloves...) along with a mini restaurant & a few tables to eat at. Their menu is very large for such a small place in a little town— they have everything you would find at a large friterie and brunch restaurant. Understandably, everything on the menu is a little expensive, but the taste (at least of the poutine) definitely holds out. Perfect stop on the way to camping in the Lanark Highlands, which I also enjoyed, so I'll definitely be coming back!

Always friendly but seem to always run out of the most popular brand of beer all the locals drink ...Maybe order more and on long weekends order extra !!

This is my go to stop on the way to my cabin/camp.From fishing and burn permits, to take away.Also LCBO and Beer agent, Stinson gas. I generally bypass stopping in Perth or Almonte, to support local businesses. Generally open until 8, it's a convenient stop on the way home or to the camp.Pick up groceries elsewhere but staples like hotdog and hamburger buns to soups, and other necessities are available.

Great store. They have almost everything you could possibly need on your way to the cottage.Ice? They’ve got it!Gas? They’ve got it!Pizza? They’ve got it?Work gloves? Bug spray? Beer? They’ve got it all.Always awesome service in here, definitely an asset to the community.

The staff is very friendly and are wuite a help just like a country corer store. Kerry is the 1 who served me she was great amd was very talkatie.
