AMS Student Nest
Place is always clean, plenty of seating and there are elevators so it is accessible for many people. There’s a wide variety of things in the building, ranging between club rooms, helpful Ressources, casual and dine-in restaurants, etc. Greag place to meet up and hangout :)

Modern, open, clean and quiet work and study place. You never end up not finding a room, it’s always comfortable to work here and overall it’s just a great place.

I work inside the building at one if the eateries and I can say that the Student Nest is a terribly designed building for two reasons. They have no air conditioning and they put refrigerator compressors underground because of aesthetics". I don't know who thought it was a brilliant idea to have a public building where many

so many non UBC-student always walking around to look for opportunity to steal and take stuffs away. Even the food bank there have so many outside people. This building gets its money from UBC students, they should charge outsiders a fee or force them to buy the over-priced drink or food from the building. It is ridiculous they milk from the UBC students to so that outsiders can benefit from it. totally ridiculous.

Nice looking space, not much air flow in the space so it can get a little stuffy.
