I had a great visit at Valley Yarn. I wanted to start a project and knit my very first pullover and I had no idea where the start. The ladies at Valley Yarn were so helpful. From choosing the right type of yarn to helping me pick a pattern that was within my skillset, I will definitely be back for more of their expertise.

I moved near this shop a year ago and have been in here about three times. Today sealed it for me that I'm not going back. If you want more than one brand of acrylic or cotton worsted and dk yarns in the popular, lower priced yarn lines, this is not the place to go. It's more for yarn snobs.

Very friendly and helpful staff members, and a good (by local standards) selection of yarns. Prices are good too (again, by comparison with the other stores in the Greater Vancouver area). My first visit to the store will definitely not be the last one. I got there just 5 min before closing, but they were so kind to wait until I chose all the yarns I needed, without any sign of displeasure.

Fantastic service! I drove from New Westminster to this shop today, but they were closed today for inventory/stocking. Valley Yarn saw me at the front door and still helped me get some wool for a winter project I wanted to start! Many thanks for this service! Meant alot to my husband and I. I'll be bringing my Oma here in the future too.

I came by tonight 10 minutes before close after being overwhelmed in a popular craft store with unhelpful staff. I was beyond impressed with how the staff here took the time to answer all my questions and point me in the right direction. I valued their advice and recommendations and honesty towards their products. I'm looking forward to knitting my first dish cloth tonight and can't wait for future projects with their yarn! Still can't believe how helpful they were even though they were closing soon, not rushing me at all!

I've been to the store and ordered online a couple of times and every purchasing experience has been great. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to assist. When having items shipped I'm absolutely amazed at how fast I am receiving items. I ordered something yesterday morning and it's being delivered today. The store carries a good variety of yarns and notions. My only critique is that for some yarns they are priced significantly higher than other stores, but I have the option to buy or not, so I'm not taking any stars off for that.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Their yarns prices are quite fair, they have very nice and soft acrylic yarns for the same price as the cheap stuff from Walmart/Michaels. Their premium fibre yarns are the same or less than most other places. Good selection of knitting/crochet tools and accessories. This is my go-to yarn store
