Great mechanic to go to. Have been here more than a dozen times, and Sean is very good at his job, really professional and definitely goes out of his way to help a customer out. Very affordable prices, and I couldn't give a higher recommendation!

Everytime I come here I have more issues then what I went in with. I’m Currently sitting in a dealership while they torch off stripped and seized lug nuts after I had a flat tire. Dave’s garage did the switch just a couple weeks ago.Watched a fellow here once split my tire sidewall during mounting and proceed to slap grease over it right in front of me and continue the install.Several similar scenarios in the past. Wheel bearings, suspension work, which have almost always led to near future issues caused by the poor work preformed.Another big red flag for me in recent visits was the absence of any computer system for record keeping. He strongly encouraged paying cash for a “better deal” and offered a handwritten receipt when requested.I think I’ve finally learned my lesson, won’t be returning.

I brought in my 2008 Mini Cooper to get the thermostat replaced. I was told it will be $240 before tax to be repaired and it would be ready by the next afternoon! 4 days later and multiple excuses after, my total bill came to $480. I brought the car home and I see smoke under my hood. Me being a car-guy I quickly realized they didn’t connect a single hose clamp going to the thermostat. Not one of the five hoses were attached. There’s a high chance the engine could’ve blown on my drive home. They came to my house to fix it and didn’t bleed the coolant system or attach any of the air intake system pipes properly. I would’ve fixed the whole issue with the car on my own but I have an injured back. Please, don’t bring your car here if you care about it. These guys do terrible repairs I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.

Worst service ever. Charged over 1000$ for replacing a starter on small little Honda Civic. Charged for extra parts cause they broke some during the repair. Eventually, broke one of the bolts on the starter which made me to go to the other shop to finish the repair properly and pay more money. Terrible experience.P.S. The excuse from the owner below is funny. I live in Aurora,ON 10 mins away from this place. My wife was towed there twice unfortunately , so no, my friend, the business address is correct. And I have bills if someone needs proofs. Another mechanics in Newmarket had to redo the sloppy repairs from this garage. So, I recommend to stay away.

I've been taking the family's cars to Shawn now for a couple of years. Shawn is a very reliable mechanic, keeps his word, delivers at the times he promised at the price he quoted and his work has held up over time. No BS, reliable, timely and very fair prices. Thank You !!!!!

Very pleased with Shawn.Didn’t even finish trying to explain what the problem was, and he already knew it…(ignition coil and spark plug.)Connected the computer to my e-150.. result: ignition coil and spark plug).. this guy knows his trade.!Always affordable pricing..He even squeeze me in right of way…I 100% recommend this guy.!

Great experience! I Needed a safety certificate for a motorcycle and these guys got me in and out quickly with great service. Shawn did the safety and he was friendly, efficient and very honest and fair. I would definitely use them again, highly recommended.

I had recently moved to Aurora and came across Dave’s Auto Garage after a bad experience with a local Midas. Since I had recently moved to Aurora I didn’t have a mechanic nor did I know of any good mechanics in the area. But I have definitely found one at Dave’s Auto Garage, the guys there are super friendly and more specifically fair and honest. It can be hard nowadays to find a honest and fair mechanic, but with Dave’s Auto Garage you can expect that and many more great things. The staff that work there are great, and have taken great car of my car. I will continue to go there for as long as I can and live in the area. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone who is looking for a good mechanic that is fair and honest and who will take care of your car as if it was there own. I don’t know much about cars and they were honest and they didn’t mislead me nor did they take advantage of the fact that I don’t know much about cars. They have helped me greatly with my cars since moving to Aurora and for that I am very appreciative and not to mention they are very fair when it comes to pricing.5 star service all around!!!!
