Holy Cross Regional High School

I went there years ago as a new immigrant from the Middle East - Iraq. Yes, Christians are found there. It was once a thriving cradle of Christianity. Found the majority of their staff and students to be excruciatingly, very disdainful.Here's a true metaphor I contrived from human experience. When you're poor, people laugh at you. And when you're rich, people are envious of you. There really is no winning with how people view you. Humans are worth more than money. Learn to be respectful to everyone.

My eldest son is a graduate of HC. Now, my youngest son is going to Grade 10 this coming school year 2022-2023. Their Band concerts are so amazing. Music Nights are my favorites. God bless HC.

Just a few months ago, the principal announced that a new building is going to be built and will be completed sometime in late 2024 (I don't remember the exact details of this, and I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense to you from an outsider's perspective). As much as I love being in the music program and such, I'll have to see how well it will go, because I have mixed feelings about this costly decision after reading some of the reviews on this page.

So many things bad about this school.The lunch schedules don't make sense: there are four periods per day, and lunch is after the third period?? Why??? To make things worse, you're not allowed to eat food during class because they don't want you to make a mess" on the table. I can't explain the countless amount of times I've felt so hungry during third period

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!In 2019, Holy Cross took money from nearly 200 band students for a band trip. Due to the pandemic in 2020, the trip got cancelled. Holy Cross never returned the money to any of the students, including the ones who graduated in 2021. Even the band kids who are still in Holy Cross and previously paid for the trip weren’t paid their money back either.One of the band trips to Cuba cost $4000.00, which Holy Cross wouldn’t pay back even upon request.So who’s pocket is all this money going into?Because this school is full of rich people careless about money. The majority of people didn't even ask for their money back, which is why no one is talking about how this school is taking advantage of people's money.If they’re gonna say they aren’t scammers, return the money back immediately.

When they teach French, they force student to use Wendy Maxwell's horrific FAKE hand sign language. If you don't know who Wendy Maxwell is, she made millions of hand gestures" to correlate with French words.Instead of using Wendy Maxwell's fake sign language

Holy Cross is a scam and a fraud.My friend went to band class when they were in grade 8 for a band trip and they got scammed.The teachers are mediocre and not fun. They should make learning useful and fun for all students. School is a place to learn about useful things for the future. It is not used for learning about redundant things.Also make sure to add smoke or vape detectors in the washrooms because there may be some students who vaped in the washrooms.The course selecting due dates are bad. When I went to the school, I got classes I didn't asked for. It's very bad because classes get full easily.I'm telling people's kids not to go there. But if they do, it's too late if they take band during a pandemic.This is my honest opinion. I am not trying to make the school look bad. I am telling the truth because I dislike lying.I would give it a five stars if Holy Cross improves their security and flexible course change dates!

Wow. Called to inquire but before i can even say what i need to say the person on the other line says we are not accepting" then hung up. So rude. I tried calling right right after a few times again but either no one answers or answers but won't speak. She is with chinese accent. Not racist but just need the school to at least identify her. I am not sure if she only entertains "specific" students.Update: waited few minutes and tried again and someone answered and she was nice. If i got her name i will put her here but i forgot. I made this just to be fair because one rude person does not define the whole."
