Kisamos Taverna
One of my favourite Greek places around. You're guaranteed to leave happy and stuffed. I've brought many friends to this place and every time they're very happy. It's not pretentious, just low key relaxed home style type environment. Just ordered some take out yesterday and the whole family kept complimenting how great it tasted, and pricing so reasonable. Definitely one of the best gems of Richmond.

Tried their takeout for dinner and the Moussaka was absolutely delicious and creamy like a Greek eggplant version of Shepherds pie. Also tried the Roast Lamb but the lamb itself was quite tough and dry. Otherwise, the portions were great. The food flavours were generally on the milder side. Came with pita bread, nice fresh tzatziki sauce, and well cooked rice and potatoes.

Generous portions, definitely order platter for two. If there’s 3 of you that’s the perfect amount too. It’s just very generous. Loved it.Service was attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped by for lunch on a busy Saturday. We didn’t have a reservation but the staff accommodated us and moved a table around to fit us in. We ordered the meat platter for 2 and it was just enough for us (2 adults and 2 children). Our son loved the keftethes. The pork souvlaki was slightly undercooked for my liking, but the spanakopita, rice and roasted potatoes were delicious. The place itself is small but cozy and staff were friendly and prompt.

Was expecting more from this Greek restaurant after seeing other reviews praising it so highly. I tried the Roast Lamb and overall it was about average. The salad was fine but the rice was bland and a little dry. The lamb was hit or miss. Parts of the lamb were dry and while other parts were cooked fine. The flavour of the lamb sauce wasn’t bad. I found the potatoes to be the best part of this dish as they were cooked perfectly.The massive portion size of this dish is a saving grace although personally I wish the quality of the food would increase in lieu of the portion sizes. The service I found to be lacking for example my water was never refilled during my experience there even though the restaurant was only about half full. The staff were friendly though.I did try the Ekmek which was fantastic and I would recommend trying it. Hopefully another try at this restaurant in the future turns out better!

Just returned from a three week trip to Greece, this place place has better Greek food than in Greece hands down! Absolutely fantastic
