I had been going to Dr J for many years, and when got married, and had kids, the rest of the family went too. We liked her so much that we continued to drive 45 minutes once a year for her services. Due to new circumstances, we cannot continue to commit to go unfortunately, but wanted to at least write a review to say thank you for your excellent service over the years. The kids really adored the whole team!

Awesome experience at this office. This was my first visit. Greeted by super friendly staff and Dr. Jongepier was friendly, helpful, and patient with my questions. This will be my go-to place for all future eye exams.

Always have a great experience with the ladies at Dr. Jongepier's office. Easy to deal with over the phone and very friendly in person. My wife and I have used them for 5+ years and come back to see them even though we moved out of the area.

Have been going here for years and they have always been upfront about costs and will always do what they can to make sure you're only paying what you need to and nothing more.Helpful and quick service, as long as you have an appointment, and excellent at answering questions and explaining in layman's terms if necessary.I don't plan to change eye doctors any time soon.

I have been taking my daughter to this clinic in the past. But lately they have been showing cheap mentality and unfair business practices. First of all they charged us a fee for special measures that they are supposedly taking for COVID. I don’t know if that is even legal. I have not experienced that at any other business. They may already be taking subsidies from the government. To make it worst, my son was not feeling well and we made several calls before hand to reschedule his appointment and no one picked the call. I didn’t want to risk others, especially in these COVID times. They charged us a massive $50 no show fee which they never informed us about before.They are just trying to fleece money to cover their losses. This cheap mentality is only going to give them bad referrals anf lose their existing clients. A piece of advice, stay away from such businesses and go to a clinic that values its clients.****EDIT: REPLY TO THE OWNER WHO HAS COMMENTED****First of all, I want to clarify that I was willing to discuss and did discuss the issue over phone with Dr. Bahong. I want to highlight again that your clinic is not transparent in terms of the “actual” fee that you charge for no show in case of unavoidable circumstances. No one told me that it is $50 even when we left the voicemail. There was no question asked about being unwell in general. A toddler who is restless cannot do the eye test.About your comment about the no show fee is also wrong. Basically, I was told I have to pay it only when I was about to leave the clinic after my daughter’s eye exam. Totally a trick. No one was willing to discuss about it.The mentality of the clinic is still cheap. Please see other comments also. They don’t want to even hand out the prescription without a separate fee if you don’t order glasses from them as per the comments below.Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the experience at this clinic. They are more concerned about finding ways to charge patients unnecessarily than making a life long relationship. They have lost two patients from coming back again. In addition to this, they will suffer from negative word of mouth referrals.

We use to go to this Optometrist but quit when we paid to get our eyes tested, a prescription was made but they wouldn't give it to us unless we paid extra for it or bought glasses from their store. I don't know how they can do this. You have paid them to test your eyes and you should be given the results as part of the charge. We find their selection to be limited and what they have to be expensive so we wanted to shop around. We should get the full service we are paying. Seems crooked.In response to your response. As far as finding us in your records, you didn't look hard enough then and you wanted to charge my husband $25.00 extra to take his prescription unless he purchased glasses from your store. I suggest you review your policies with ALL your staff because they obviously aren't aware.

I've just returned from an eye exam at Drs. Jongepier & Associates. I was concerned about my vision deteriorating, and needed to know if it was a symptom of larger health issues. My appt. was with attending optometrist Dr. Sandeep Bahugun. From start to finish, I appreciated the friendly, professional and knowledgeable cander... from the staff member who greeted me, to the initial examiner, to finally Dr. Bahugun. I was allowed to be a consumer of their knowledge, their advice and any products that I may want to purchase.I'm being very particular with my wording in this review because I cannot make sense of the negative reviews published here. There must have been some misunderstanding on their part, because I have seen none of it. Its not my 1st time here, nor will it be my last. This office has never pressured me, or held an interpretation of my eye exam hostage for extra sales, etc. By the way, I wrote this on my own accord without hesitation. They are a great asset to our community and they should hold their heads high.

Dr. Jongepier has been my optometrist for several years now and I have always had great service. My most recent eye exam revealed yet another change to my prescription. How I hate getting older! I ordered a new set of glasses and when they arrived I thought they were a little difficult to see through but i persevered and tried them for a while. I couldn't get used to them so I came back and Jennifer was so helpful and accommodating. New lenses were ordered at their expense and now I can see!What a great group!

Dr Bahugun has been amazing every time I've taken my three year old for her eye exam. It's not always an easy task to work with a young patient, but she goes out of her way to be friendly, patient, and thorough with my daughter. She gives me a clear explanation of her findings and always asks if I have any more questions before I leave. I would recommend her to any parent looking for an Optometrist for their child.

I am a senior, had my eye exam here and the government will cover the cost of glasses if I get a written prescription from them, which I did kindly receive.The government told me I needed to go back and have the optometrist write ”bifocals” on that same form.‘Disgusting’ is the only appropriate word to describe the treatment received on the return visit. The optometrist was right there and it would have taken one second to do this, however I was made to sit and wait an hour. I finally I asked how much longer it would be because I wasn’t feeling well. I was told I would have to return the next day and it would be waiting for me.After walking all the way back again the next day it still was not ready; in fact, the optometrist made me wait again and then refused to do it. Through this entire experience, she never even had the common courtesy to look at me. I finally got quite upset and asked again. The receptionist (obviously embarrassed by this) asked the optometrist once more and she finally wrote the ONE WORD I’d asked for on my form.As a senior, I am especially shocked by the way I was treated and obviously would never recommend this place to anyone.
