My daughter Addison attended a week of summer horse camp here. She absolutely loved it! The instructors were amazing. Super friendly, encouraging and made sure the kids were always safe (especially given Addison is a new rider). We will definitely be going back next summer!!

I came to Woodwind South when I moved to Barrie only 4 months ago and can say that they have been the most welcoming people. Very knowledgable instructors who are dedicated to making you a better rider. Staff are very nice & knowledgeable to help you with any needs you may have! There is a great variety of school horses & ponies to fit any rider and their ability. I love it here and would never ride anywhere else!

I brought my daughter to Woodwind South to start riding. Both Christy and Tony are knowledge coaches and our experience has been excellent! I have started riding and taking lessons as well and highly recommend this establishment. The school horses are all fantastic and it is a wonderful learning environment for the kids. We can't wait for summer camp!

At the start of June 2021 I emailed this business to try and obtain information on their advise horse camps. Received no response so I called and left 2 voicemails and another message to a person who did answer the phone. We are now in middle of July and I left a total of 3 emails and 3 voicemails. I finally did get a phone call back telling me to send them and email. They were responding to my voicemail that I left over a month ago. What joke this place is. This is how they treat their customer! Very unprofessional. I would never recommend this company.

Woodwind South is an amazing place to learn not just to ride, but quality horsemanship as well. The coach's are amazing with riders of all levels and skills and truly want each student to succeed at whatever goals they have. The barn is always clean and tidy and you are always made to feel welcome. It is so obvious they do this because the truly love it. We have been here for almost a year and plan to remain here for as long as our daughter rides! Best barn family ever!

I had a chance to watch my grand daughter's riding lesson this past weekend. The progress she has made is unbelievable. She is confident and she seems to be in harmony with her pony. The instruction at Woodwind South is great. Communication with the students during the lesson is encouraging. Parents are kept well informed. The atmosphere is wonderful and positive. It is a joy every time we come to this beautiful facility.

Wonderful riding experience with knowledgeable instructors who sincerely care about people and horses. It is a cheerful family atmosphere with outstanding state of the art facilities. Love it !

I have been privy to the start of Christy's teaching school at woodwind South. After having two kids in various sports growing up I can tell you I am truly impressed with the professionalism and knowledge she brings to these kids. She has grown a state of the art school that brings kids dreams to life and lets everyone shine!! Way to go Christy I know how hard you work and see you put your heart and soul into this and it shows!!!
