Our initial experience was wonderful. Our care providers were compassionate and helpful. With the new owners, we were not informed of policy changes even when we asked for an updated manual. The communication was deplorable. With COVID 19, we were assured, they were following provincial protocol and in fact, one of our workers couldn’t wear a mask so couldn’t work during this period. We were given a copy of their protocols which included hand washing and wearing a mask. Our workers didn’t wash their hands when entering our home, they often didn’t wear a mask even when reminded or maintain proper social distancing. We were bullied in our own home about excessive rules concerning dishes (we are Jewish and keep a kosher home which we explained to each worker and in our initial intake) I was repeatedly asked about my husband even though I informed the worker that I didn’t have one. (I’m LGBTQ) when we raised these concerns, we were told we weren’t a good fit. So which part isn’t a good fit? That we are Jewish. LGBTQ a or ask that they follow proper COVID 19 protocol.

I loved working for CareForce. I always thought they actually appreciated and respected their employees and would work with them so the care givers can balance work life and private family time equally.
