Ray's Cottages

Amazing atmosphere and awesome people! We brought our family for a week-end getaway, and we'll be back for sure...hopefully for a longer stay! The cottage was super clean and the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. Great play areas for the kids, and great fishing off of the dock/shore.

So what can I say about this little gem I found last minute. First I was shocked with the cottages condition. Brand new inside and out. Unlike other cottages I have rented that are barely standing and stink of humidity the second you walk in. Non of that here. Beautiful inside and fully equipped with everything you need. Your own BBQ firepit and table outside. Seating area with lake view inside. Clean fresh and new. Alexia was an awesome host. At night they all had bonfires going on. Movies for the kids on a projector. Everyone seemed to know everyone there. Pet friendly. Will definitely return next year without a doubt. Good job guys. Keep up the good work.

We booked a camping spot at Ray's Cottages last minute and really enjoyed our time. Ray's is located just minutes from local shops and an amazing farmers market. The grounds were clean and COVID precautions were taken very seriously, which was very comforting! We were always greeted with smiles and a conversation as we explored the grounds. We were able to rent a kayak and paddle over to the most beautiful beach on our last day. I can't wait to come back and check out the adorable cottages they have. Also a huge thank you to Alexia for couriering my lost sunglasses back to me in Toronto! You took time out of your day to put a smile back on my face! See you all soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ray’s Cottages! Wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home. Cottages and campers are close together but quiet and offer a sense of community. We stayed in the Blue Door cottage (right on the water) and enjoyed swimming everyday on our doorstep. Our cottage was sweet and charming, right down to the vintage dish ware. Ray’s reminds you of your childhood: simple pleasures (sun & swim by day and playing classic board games and borrowing all of our old favourites from the DVD lending library by night - County internet is largely spotty). We enjoyed nightly campfires, and a full kitchen and outdoor BBQ is provided so you can cook on-site; but you’re also so well placed to enjoy all the County has to offer. We would be remiss not to mention our private outdoor shower which was pure luxury! All in all Ray’s offers a much needed chance to unplug and relax. We’ll be back!

Wow! Wow! Wow!We camped at Rays Cottages a couple of weeks ago.From the conversations via email and all the way up until the end of our trip Alexia and Nic were the most accommodating and friendliest people ever!!!!They even checked up on us to make sure we were ok in the storm.The park itself is small, clean and quiet!The cottages were being worked on and looked cute and super clean!The beach is small and the water was warm.Lots of fishing and things too do.A great location if you feel like going to the Sandbanks for the day.I look forward to supporting this place in the future. No complaints and everything was awesome!

This will be the third year in a row staying at Ray’s. We just love it so much! The location is amazing and so are the owners! They’ve thought of all the little details to make your stay relaxing.

So clean and comfortable. They provide everything (small and large appliances, bbq, propane, cups, plates, etc., etc.) so you don't need to pack so much. Cottage is right on the beach with your own firepit... it's just awesome. Love this place!

Stayed at Ray's cottages this past weekend for tent camping. We were a group of 4 and our sites were right on the water with beautiful views. There isn't much privacy between sites (big open field) but we were the only ones camping this weekend so it wasn't an issue.Alexia at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The washrooms were very clean and had COVID measures in place.The campsite is about a 20 minute bike ride to the wineries nearby.Overall great place to camp out!

Ray’s Cottages is the place to stay in PEC. Alexia and Nick go above and beyond to create a wonderful environment for your stay. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was finished impeccably and super cozy. We also found that the grounds are in tip top shape and extremely well maintained. It’s like a little hidden oasis!The views onto West Lake are breathtaking and we were able to explore the lake with the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards available. Our kids absolutely loved being in the water all day and using the water trampoline and slides. We couldn’t get them out of the water!!We will definitely return. Such a wonderful atmosphere there and everyone was so friendly. The kids had a blast and we did too! The perfect vacation spot so accessible to various destinations in PEC. Thanks for having us!!

I just spent 3 amazing days tent camping at Ray's Cottages for the first time. If you're into wilderness camping or the sort of experience provided by provincial parks then this will be differentIf you want to spend some quiet, relaxing time beside a beautiful lake, with sparkling clean amenities, free, strong wifi, secure charging stations for for your devices and a wonderful community of campers, glampers, RVers and cottagers, then you'll love it here.The owners make you feel at home as soon as you arrive and guests come by and say hello and lend a hand if you need one. (Thanks again to the lovely woman who helped me with my new screen tent!).If you have kids, they're going to love the imaginative playground with structures, activities and challenges for all ages. And the regulars tell me the lake is great for fishing and the proximity of the Millenium Trail is excellent for hiking or biking.It's also fun to explore some of the nearby villages, all within easy 5 to 10 minute drives.This campground has been around and evolving for almost 7 decades and continues to evolve to ensure the best experience for its guests.I'm already looking forward to coming back soon!
