This place is the nicest salon I’ve been to. I was treated so well from the moment I walked in. The complimentary coffee/tea and scalp massage are major pluses. The haircut I got by Rezi was great, her attention to detail and ensuring I was happy was greatly appreciated. It’s one of the pricier haircuts I’ve gotten but the amenities and attention to detail make it worth it. I would definitely come back here for more services!

First time here; it was a super lovely experience. Very friendly staff. I was lead into a room where I was able to lock up my things and switch into a robe if I wanted to. Then my stylist, Rezi, gave me a lovely hair wash and scalp massage. Once in her chair, I filled out a quick form on a tablet, giving them my hair goal information. They had a cute lil menu with wine, mimosas, beer, coffee and teas, so I enjoyed a glass of wine while Rezi got to work. She asked lots of questions and explained what she was doing to make sure I got my desired look. She was so pleasant to converse with and I would highly, highly recommend seeing her for your next cut. Thank you so much! I have found my salon and stylist!

I recently chose Frenchie's for my first cut since moving into the downtown area. It was a delightful experience, and the result is far and away the best haircut I've ever had.Granted, it's only my second time in a true salon, as prior to that whole 2020 debacle I always chose to control my thick, curly, coarse, and unruly hair by keeping it quite short; so barber shops always did just fine.This place is a very, very different experience from anywhere I've ever had my hair cut. The first twenty minutes to half an hour was all asking questions about my hair care routine, my desired haircut, what bothered me about my current style, what difficulties I had with my hair, etc. Lacey clearly knows a *lot* about hair, made several suggestions, and ultimately decided on an undercut and a bit of volume reduction.Then they take you in the back room, give you the standard hair wash, and bring you back out to offer you a fantastic coconut macaroon from downstairs and a drink menu, with everything from lovely cups of earl grey to mimosas - tea and water are free, but alcoholic beverages are a bit extra.The haircut itself was very thorough, with enough time taken to get everything just right. Lacey explained her thought process throughout, and multiple times during the cut made sure it looked alright to me - as well as keeping a lively conversation going. After a rinse and some diffusion blow drying, the final product is simply outstanding.The puffiness at the sides is gone thanks to her suggested undercut, the thickness is down to a manageable level, frizz is practically a thing of the past, and all of that together means my hair is significantly softer and less coarse.Will 100% return when I need another cut, and cannot recommend this salon and Lacey's services enough.

Can not say enough good things about the service, fantastic facility and the amazing cuts at Frenchie’s. I love Brittany’s cuts & Abby does such a fantastic job with my tween niece. Abby makes her feel so special and spends time teaching her to look after her hair.

If you have curly hair go to Frenchie’s!!! I have very thick curly hair and have never found a place that knows how to cut, style and manage my curly hair before I went to Frenchie’s. This place is AMAZING, the staff are so friendly and it’s unlike anywhere I have ever been for a haircut. All the staff are so so so talented and know exactly what they are doing. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone (ESPECIALLY if you have curly and need help managing it)!!

I had originally given a 2 star rating because I was really unhappy with my hair cut, but I have now changed it to a 5 star. The salon contacted me and offered to fix my cut free of charge. Rezi did an amazing job, and I am so happy with the fixed haircut! I will definitely be going back to this salon in the future

Beautiful ambiance and the staff are extremely friendly and personable. I had a cut and blowout with Reiz and the whole experience was phenomenal right from the start. Very happy with my cut and she really listened to what I wanted.

I’ve had such a hard time finding a good salon in Edmonton for the last couple years that I get my hair done in Vancouver.Today I saw Rezi for a cut and color. She did an amazing job - gave me exactly what I asked for and her attention to detail was impressive. Moreover, the whole salon experience was really high end. It’s readily apparent how important customer experience is to the owner and the staff here. This place is a vibe. You have a new repeat customer in me, I’ll be back!

I have had 2 cuts here. Both were great. This place is really lovely! My first cut was with Rezi. She was so kind, and did a great job easing me into it (I had long hair and was reluctant/nervous about cutting too much). She was so great it gave me the confidence to get a full chop for my next cut. I had Brittany for my next cut and she did an amazing job! I LOVE my new hair, am getting so many compliments. Most importantly it feels like me. Well and truly, I am so happy I found this salon. The service is professional, kind, and I trust them to really take care in giving me great hair. I highly recommend this place.

BEST PLACE IN TOWN! I have struggled for years with my frizzy low-porosity mixed-ethnicity hair, and never thought I would find a stylist who would understand my hair type. Fortunately, I was wrong! Kari is an absolute wizard and took the time to get to know my hair! After going to her for an initial cut, which I loved, I decided to take the plunge and let her colour my hair. I am absolutely overjoyed with the results! She colour matched to bring out all the warmth in my skin and eyes. After going to her, I will never go see anyone else!
