What you would expect from Home Depot, nobody works there all self check outs. Wood looks like hockey sticks. Try Home Hardware on 18th first thay have people working there who are ready to help.

Absolutely horrible place. Employees are literally almost all border line brain dead. Go there for something simple that you already picked out online and wait an hour for someone to get it down for you after being told to wait a couple minutes and then get ghosted and every other employee you ask for help doesn't want to help. They would rather sit around with their thumb up their buts. This is the case almost everytime I have gone there and had to ask an employee for something. If there is something you don't need an employees help for then sure it's worth getting but this kind of service makes me want to avoid this entire business. Pathetic.

Just recently picked up windows for 2 cabins and the process was flawless. I was out of the province and was able to place my order with Doug in the window department who was exceptional and went the extra mile to make sure that every detail was covered. The turn around time was extremely fast (under 3 weeks) and Home Depot held them for me until I returned home. The pick up was flawless as well with about 4-5 associates helping to load them into my trailer. Great service all around and I’ll be back for sure!!

Buying a dishwasher has been a nightmare. They lost the braided hose in transit last week. Then, when I wasn't provided a delivery window by the time promised I had to reach out and find out it won't be delivered. No alternate date and nobody knows where it is so I can pick it up.

If you buy a major appliance here you only have 48HOURS to return them according to the manager if they are damaged so upset! and to the owner don't you dare send me a generic response you send everybody with one star saying thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are very much aware of this so no thank you for your response

After purchasing a damaged snow blower and returning it to Canadian Tire where their associates did not care about their customers. We went to Home Depot and within 10 minutes we were on our way out with a even better snow blower.I was in quite a sour mood due to the lack of customer service at Canadian Tire. The person working the cash register near the south doors made me laugh on multiple occasions, was very personable and simply just made my day better. I did not get their name but they are appreciated!

Such a bad experience. Went in and krder cupboards. I know I told the lady i wanted assembled cupboards. She made up the 3d image. I said said yup looks good. And go pick up to not pre-assembled. Came 2 hrs away for these. For them to say they have no help for me. They were all in training. 6 hrs later I finally got my cupboards with 1 great staff member helping. The ones who tried were great. The other half not so much. Even had 2 girls tell me they can't help me cause they off in 10 minutes. Just no care. Rest of my kitchen I'm going somewhere else.

This review is mostly for the online shopping experience, I shop in store all the time and haven’t had any real poor experiences, but shopping online is terrible. In the past I’ve ordered big items online, and while they do arrive it does take a while, I’ve never really noticed how bad the experience is as usually it’s not something I need immediately so I don’t think much about it. Until recently. I ordered a stove online from Home Depot with the whole reason I did that because the delivery date they gave me was sooner than I’d be able to drive to the nearest store (over an hour away) and pick one up. Little did I know that date was completely made up. After that date came and went I messaged them to see if there was an update, that’s when I was informed they didn’t even have it and had to order it from a supplier and it had just shipped from there. After another week passed Home Depot got possession of it and updated my delivery date. Well that date came and went too, so again I messaged and was told they’d follow up. By follow up they just messaged me every couple days to see if I got it. Well then they gave me yet another delivery date, and “shockingly” that date has come and went as well. I have no idea when this is going to arrive but I know I will never be ordering products from Home Depot unless I’m in the store and can physically touch the object. Avoid ordering online from Home Depot unless you are in absolutely no hurry to receive it.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE! THE MANAGER SAID I ONLY HAD 48HOURS TO REPORT DAMAGE! WHAT A JOKE! I bought a fridge when my husband went to get it after it FINALLY came in and it had a huge dent in box,he brought it to their attention, they said it should be fine. He said it better because I am a disabled senior that lives in oakburn. Of course we brought it all the way home open it up and it has massive damage. So my husband had to drive all the way back to talk to them where he had to prove if it had been only 48 hours and even then when we asked for somebody to come down and exchange it they weren't willing to do it when my husband asked what kind of money are you going to give me back they wouldn't even given number is like it's a bartering system! how am I supposed to know what they're willing to give on damaged product they shipped out anyways I'm going to be talking to the manager again tomorrow and I will keep you updated on how they respond to my situation thanks for listening
