Remember taking swimming lessons here. Nice park with a number of tennis courts.$12M to fix or replace reminds me of the Prime Ministers mansion. Good after bad.The crux of the Thames Pool is the damage from flooding. The solution is to move the pool to higher ground. The City parking lot where McManus motors seems like a great spot. If issues with that then take the land where Ontario Arena used to be.Key being land above flooding area very very close to Thames location. This is an underserved area that needs more than a pool, tennis courts and walking g paths.

Nice park with a swimming pool, entertainment lot for kids, tennis playground and plots for hoppy farmers, only 3 hour limit for parking.

I love taking my son to this park, it has so much to offer. Our favorite thing is walking though the wooded area to look at the water and observe wildlife, an entomologist can lose themselves for hours there. The cobble stone walkway offers photographers a dreamy inspiration. Gardeners tend to their community garden, offering tomatoes to fellow enthusiasts. Children run to the playground after a swim at the public pool, squealing with joy at having conquered a waterslide for the first time. Athletes engage in light competition at the tennis courts and open playing fields, joggers circling the park and attempting to make it to the top of a large paved hill. An outdoor yoga class is inviting you to a few moments of peace and tranquility. Thames park is a hallmark of Canadian living.

It's so beautiful and full of greenery and beautiful trees/flowers. The walk on the bridge beside the water is magical with woodpeckers and cardinals and warblers.. Etc so many birds too

Parking lot is torn out and un-useable. The bike path through the park and under the bridge have been torn out as well with no detour route marked out or planned whatsoever.. Avoid the area if possible.

I'm giving the Thames Park Tennis Courts a 3 and I think it might be generous. They renovated the Pool and didn't touch the courts. I can't recall if any of the courts don't have at least one big crack in it (usually w/ grass growing out of them) These used to be really beautiful courts, that were busy, especially, the hot summer night, turns into a beautiful game of tennis under the lights. Some people are super friendly and you could easily end up in a game of doubles. Great parking. Easy access for anyone. At one time these were the nicest Public Courts in the City w/ lights. (When Greenhills had Clay Courts downtown it was a great place to play & they never should have gotten rid of them). It's generally a cool (temperature) place to play, do to all the trees & the Thames River right near by. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. LAST I SAW THEY WERE GARBAGE.

It’s a excellent park, has all the necessary playground equipment for children. The Victoria Bridge is currently being replaced so parking is awkward, but you can park on Ridout St south of the Thames River. Washroom opening are inconsistent most of the time I’ve been there. So plan accordingly. During Bridge replacement construction you can access the playground from Wortley Rd on the path before the bridge over Horton St.
