Took a little while to get a seat but overall, food was delicious! I got pork tamales w/ fries ($12), a mojito, and my boyfriend got Sammy’s Torta ($13). Staff was friendly and food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Enchiladas mole style were very tasty. The staff all over it. They seemed to have a steady stream of regulars and knew most by name. The bar crew were excellent and always concerned with how I was doing. Very clean. It will become a regular stop.

Go here!! Don’t walk, run! The food was incredible and the service was awesome! My husband loved it so much he ordered takeout a few days later! We will definitely be back!

Small place. Crowded. Excellent food.. i gave it a 4 because no one answers the phone. I called few times and let it ring and ring and no one picks up. Its so packed and there really isnt a waiting areas either beside standing around by the door. In summer you could wait outside, but in winter i would have just gone elsewhere. Either take rsvp, use buzzers or text system or create a waiting areas.

Enchilada's Mole fantastic. Also good Queso Fundito, tho no spice at all. Good selection of Marguerite's. Fun place with good food. Love the salsa and chips! Burritos are amazing, too!Big homemade tamales, Flan was great!

My absolute favorite place for Mexican food and Margaritas. The staff is so dope and chill. I go all the time just to unwind and have a drink at the bar, if you go tell them Ronda sent you and get yourself a yummy Strawberry or Mango Margarita and some alambre tacos on corn tortilla! Thank me later :)

When we first arrived on a Saturday evening, the place was packed. When I asked how long the wait was, the lady up front told us it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I told her that is way too long of a wait for two people, her response was “bye” in a snarling sarcastic way. She didn’t give me the chance to ask if the bar had a wait time. Maybe she didn’t mean it that way, maybe there was a language barrier, whatever. We ended up sitting at the bar and were able to get two chairs at the end, next to the kitchen. The decor was nice, traditional Mexican with a modern sports bar type vibe. They had ALL Mexican beer on tap which was pretty cool.The menu is pretty big, lots to choose from. They started us off with a basket of tortilla chips and salsa. The chips weren’t bad but they are definitely out of a bag, not home made. The salsa was watered down and had no flavor. I ordered a frozen mango margarita which was delicious but could of used a little more alcohol for the price. The waiter we had was friendly, attentive and on top of his game. Slightly disappointed we didn’t get a female server cause here at Sammys, they are all smoking hot.I ended up ordering the steak enchiladas suizas with the red sauce, my wife had the 3 steak taco dinner. My enchiladas were really good but not great, the steak tasted like it was made in a pot,and NOT flame or charcoal grilled which was disappointing. Same with my wife’s tacos. The beans and rice were good, however the rice was a little over cooked. The food came out super fast, which was great but this is probably why the quality is lacking. It appears nothing here is made to order, it’s all precooked and the guys back there just slap it together as they receive the orders.Overall, not a bad Mexican restaurant, the ambiance is cool and lively with plenty of eye candy. Not a place I would bring a group of people to, but as a place to have a few drinks at the bar. We will most likely be back to try other things on the menu, maybe during the week when it’s less hectic.

Super busy,so maybe it's just what we ordered,because obviously others like it. Not sure I'd go back. Even the spicy" drinks were too sweet. Food was just meh."

Food's always excellent at this restaurant. Keep coming back. Wait staff's real pleasant and helpful. Generous serving of Ground beef on their Taco Salad do is with their tacos. Worth my visit and the price. Love their chips and salsa.
