Great location, ample parking, good inventory, not very busy. Good variety of fruits, vegetables, frozen food, dairy products. It's a good place to get groceries and frozen foods like pizza.

Terrible experience… I waited patiently and the cashier (a young girl)tells me that she can’t help me…I requested her that I have only three items and m not very comfortable with self checkout, she said okay and within few minutes she tells me that sorry I Can’t help you at all….I’m never visiting this store ever again…

I will never give these guys another penny. They keep advertising Chicken Breasts at a very reasonable price and when I go the store to purchase them NOTHING! 5 different times I went on different weeks, each time NOTHING. False advertising for sure.

Prices are good, friendly customer service, especially female employee who work in self check out booths. She has an excellent attitude for customers.

The store is spacious and plenty of parking spots are available in front of it. It has a great collection of fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff are helpful and friendly; the store is clean and well-maintained. They usually have great offers on fruits and vegetables. The plus point is I never got stuck in the lineups during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This location has gone downhill in recent years. Not sure if it's Covid-related, but it's not clean at all. The main door vestibule where the carts are kept is extremely filthy. It is never cleaned and the carts always have garbage and debris in them that customers have to pick out, and the floor usually has garbage strewn about. It's actually quite disgusting. The baskets are never there anymore for the times you don't need a cart. They are always sitting at the end of the cash aisles, or nowhere to be seen. Often there are no carts available either because they are all sitting in the parking lot. This store started off to be a slow one, not busy most of the time, but now it's bustling (probably because of high food prices of late) and they haven't compensated by having more staff working. There is usually only 1-2 cash registers open, sometimes 3 at most on a Saturday, and so one has use the self-checkouts unless they don't mind standing in long line ups. So you're still paying the same prices but now have to check out your own items. Also, and this is a corporate problem, the prices should ALWAYS be cheaper than Metro, but sometimes Metro has sales and they are better than Food Basics' regular AND sale prices. I should always be paying lower prices at Food Basics than at Metro. They are the same company, so if you're offering a cheaper grocery experience, then lower the prices. The price of butter has not gone down in months, for example. It's been steady at $6.49 at both stores, but Metro had it on sale last week for $4.99 and Food Basics didn't. These grocery chains are really gouging us.

Great deals. The annoying cashier that you can't move a thing makes everything harder when you have a full cart

Good location and selection but it is very inconvenient to have 1 person working on the register and only depending on the self checkout to do the job. A lot of people have trouble with these and when you have a cart full of things to scan it's even harder to use and stack up the groceries.
