What happened to Family Express???I am trying to call about my account but no one is answering the phone. I am a customer who wants to talk to somebody urgently from Family Express regarding on my account. Just wondering why they're not answering the calls or they got a new number.

I had been using family express to send money home, but yesterday they said I been randomly selected for an audit and they cant send my money unless I provide 3 months of banking information, payslip and my i.d which they already have on their record. I feel uncomfortable because they only contact me the day after. It was very stressful because I have to cancel my transaction instead of providing them my personal banking info so they still charged me with the transaction fee.

I sent money to my son few days ago and though I had some problems with my first transaction, I was very pleased that the manager and the staff were very helpful resolving my issue. Though there was a bit of delay on my first transaction, I will recommend Family Express for the good customer service given to me.Emilio, Marivic and Jenny, thank you so much for your help and your patience.I will always recommend your company to everyone that I know sending money to Philippines. How I wish I found your company before when I continuously sending money and used Western Union. Western Union has the worst service sending money to Philippines.To all the Filipinos remitting money to their love ones , I suggest you try FAMILY EXPRESS.Thank you somuch once again..Further to my previous review and reviews by two customers online, I really could not understand how can you say that to Family Express. I am not from Vancouver and just found this company online, I can tell you that they give you a much better customer service than the other companies out there.You probably do not know what you are doing but if you call and talk to them they will help you the best they can.I am very particular with customer service and probably one of the person who is hard to please but I am telling you that I am very happy with the service Family Express is providing me and other customers.Thank you for all your help. I am satisfied with your service.

I have been sending money back home to my sister and had used this service a few times - but recently - I have 2 incidents that really frustrated me and angered me.This weekend's incident was the last straw.I sent funds to my brother in Manila on May 30th, 2014 and gave him the PIN number as soon as it was done. Sunday morning - Philippines time - he went over to MHuillier - the designated place of pick up - and was told that the funds are not available - much to my dismay as I was told he will get it in 15 minutes - and he needed the money to pay for the training that he needs for his job. And so I phoned Family Express Sunday morning - June 1 , 2014 at 8 AM and was assured by the rep that I have talked to, that he will make sure that the funds will be available to my brother and so, again, I message my brother that it was now resolve.So my poor brother , again had to go back to MHuilier to pick the funds up only to be told again that funds are insufficient- frustrated and tired - my brother again sent me a message.Out of frustration and anger - I called Family Express and they kept telling me that everything is okay at their end and told me that it was an error with MHuillier and they - Family Express will try and contact MHuillier and even took my brother's cell number in the Philippines so they, Family Express can notify him when it will be resolve so he can go pick up ( of which they did not do of course) 5 hours later - my brother again message me that funds are not available - AGAIN - and so I phoned Family Express numerous times--perhaps more than 20 times perhaps, wanting to know what was the reason - but was ignored despite numerous urgent messages - Had I not left a message on the voice mail ranting and raving out of anger - my phone call would not be answered.And then I was told that the connection with MHuillier was not working - for an hour now--that was after 5 hours that I was told that they would make sure my brother can pick it up.I only wanted to know the truth why the funds - that my brother needed for training was not available for pick up and I was given a run around and my brother had to differ his training for another few days--because of the delay in picking up the funds!!So to the staff of Family Express - do not say it will be pick up if you can't be true to your words - at least give an honest answer and don't give your customers a run around.I was angry and disgruntled because I was not given a direct answer.And my brother in Manila was told by the teller in Mhuiilier - that they had customers thru Family Express remittance that had to go back 3 times before they were given the funds sent to them!!I don't think I can trust this remittance agency again.

I sent money to the Philippines and unfortunately the reference code did not show up in BDO Remit. I phoned their 1800 number hoping they can help me fix the issue since the money is urgently needed for hospital bill. I spoke with someone and assured me that someone from the Philippine branch will help/assist the receiver to be able to get the money. The person I spoke with promised me they will help him right away and call the receiver when the issue is fixed. My cousin waited whole day and did not receive any calls from them. Poor customer service.

Since I started sending money online, I don't have any issue and they always received the money I send on time..they always give me a good service and no problem at all..they didn't disappoint me so far..keep it up.God bless.

Been using this agency since 2015. Rates have always been very good, better than most financial institutes that I have explored. However, I have had a couple of incidents where they were asking for confidential banking information which that they were not required to have, resulting in delays of my transfer. Subsequently, the agency proved to be flexible in following the guidelines as legislated by FINTRAC and CRA, showing good business and customer relations by working through it and sending the monies to the recipient.

Transferring money from Canada to Philippines is much easier to do now because of family express, better than today cause they now have an mobile app. Unlike other remittances they have a better customer service and trusted bank partnership in Philippines (BDO) which is my bank so within a few minutes it is automatically deposited. And also the cash pick up remittance service is A plus because my recipient can receive automatically text message from Family Express if the money is ready to claim. The only down side is that the home delivery is a little bit longer than expected , but i always make 3-4 days allowance. But all in all i will recommend using the family express. :)

I wanted to send some money to the Phillipines. I called the 1866 number at least 20 times. Not a single one person ever picked up and answered my questions. I went to the #600-1285 West Broadway location. This office was not even listed in the building's directory. The management of this company has some serious work to do to gain customer's satisfaction back.

upon referral by a friend i switched to this service from remitly app. when my account got expired started the hustles i experienced aside from not user friendly process in transferring money, customer service is disgusting. i called for over 30 minutes wait for my expired account. i was desperately looking for an answers to my questions and hoping to get a better solution, the CS agent blatantly told me to just comply the requirement and not to ask many questions, wow!so with that bad experience, i went back to REMITLY and found out that they do better service than Family Express.
