Ghent Landscape

This company does decent work but they will not return our calls regarding when they are replacing dead shrubs covered under warranty. They came out to look at them and readily agreed they should be replaced and then they just ghosted us. It’s really beyond bad customer service - it’s just horrible to treat people this way. Their communication has been awful from start to finish. We’d just like some kind of communication on when/if they are coming out to finish this work. We have NEVER consider small claims court with any contractor but we are getting close with this one.Update - we contacted the owner and he was very apologetic. He resolved the issues quickly to our satisfaction.

Ghent was our first choice to implement our vision for our front and back yards (which were a mess after adding an addition, doing foundation work, and installing a new driveway and patio). We couldn't get into their schedule for Fall 2022, but it was worth the wait to have the work done in Spring 2023. The work was done professionally and the crew displayed outstanding work ethic and consideration for our needs. Highly recommended.

Ghent Landscape did a phenomenal job on our backyard landscaping project. We had many issues including sloping, draining and not being able to utilize the space and in their design they captured a plan that works with our needs and budget. Colleen was wonderful to work with in the design process and the crew, led by Nate and Jeff worked tirelessly every day to finish our project quickly.

Ghent was amazing to work with. They first created a landscape design for our front yard that met our desires and our budget. We worked with Shawntanna for the design. When it came time for installation, everything went smoothly and communication with the project manager was great. They followed up after completion to make sure that everything was as expected before collecting final payment. The final result looks great and has really improved the curb appeal of our house.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Ghent Landscape to transform my badly overgrown and weed-ridden property. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the remarkable transformation!The crew of three arrived as scheduled, armed with an impressive array of equipment, and their efficiency and friendly demeanour were beyond expectation. With smiles on their faces, they tackled the job with precision, leaving my property looking absolutely fantastic. They even went above and beyond by taking care of a pile of branches I had recently cut from my tree.

Edit: the Owner Adam called and apologized for the experience. Sounded very genuine and promised to make the experience better for future customers. on my end, I felt that i could of probably went the extra mile to speak with someone else or management before writing a review.Will give the company ago again as i was recommended by of 2 my friends who are super happy with their work and see what we end up with.--------------------Called to ask if they do free consultation and quote, the desk lady said yes they do, got a an email response from Benj asking for $1500 for a consultation fee that includes a 2D sketch. Felt very impersonal and came across as a away for quick money grab.I had 5 other landscape companies drop by and provide us with free drawings and landscape options for free

Adam and his team did an amazing job on our alfresco decking area. Super professional, excellent communication with loads of interaction, progress reports & planning and very high quality finish. Highly recommend him to anyone getting some decking or landscaping work done. Thanks Adam and the team.

We are so happy with our backyard project which was designed and completed by Ghent. They understood our vision and demonstrated outstanding work ethic. We were impressed with how they consistently left the site cleaned up at day's end. The finished project speaks to the high level of craftsmanship. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering landscaping or backyard reno.

Snow maintenance not done properly. Sidewalks not maintained, parking lot not maintained of snow removal or empty parking spots cleared of snow or salted properly. Multiple people with disabilities in the building that cannot properly access their vehicles because of excessive snow pile ups.

Was involved in an accident with them where one of their mowers put a stone through the window of my van. They were very apologetic, and took care of all the cost without hesitation. If they were this good to me, I can imagine they treat their clients very well.
