Tangerine Spa Nails

First and last visit. We had no appointment and we were told to come back in an hour which we did. They sat us at the pedicure sinks, there was soap in mine that they quickly rinsed out, then they filled the baths with water and left us there to soak with Epsom salts from the pharmacy for 30 mins. If they were busy and couldn’t take us they should have just told us that in the first place. They never apologized for the wait, they weren’t exactly friendly. My neighbour at the sink next to me had been soaking even before we arrived! When trimming my neighbour ‘s cuticles, she kept flinching in pain, that’s not normal. Even though they scraped the bottom of my feet, I feel that the loose skin is still there, not sanded off, they cut my skin and it bled and didn’t apologize or put anything on it, just rinsed it off and pretended like nothing happened. I only noticed the bumpy polish on my nails after I got home. Very disappointed, never going back.

I went to do my eyebrows today and I noticed that the aesthetician changed the shape. Upon paying, I said that next time I’d appreciate it if she asked before changing my shape. After receiving my payment, she answered “you can do it yourself.”That tells you everything you need to know about their work ethic, their rudeness and the lack of care for their customers.

Went to get my acrylics removed. It took some time as the two women working there were quite busy. However, it was really well done and didn't hurt at all. She also shaped my nails nicely afterward :)

Received a great service, the place is clean and the employees sweet. 55$ for a set this short is expensive to me and 2 coats isn’t enough, 3 would’ve been perfect. This explains why I’m only putting 3 stars.

Make an appointment. Walking are a hit or a miss. The people are friendly and the job is fair for the price. I prefer their pedicures to their manicures because they're more thorough but overall a good experience.

This place is a first come first serve type of service. There's honestly no point of booking an appointment.

I was very disappointed with my visit. My acrylic nails looked bumpy, not smooth. While shaping, she hurt me and I flinched and she didn’t apologize. The colour was badly done with 2 coats AND I got a nail infection on my thumb!! NEVER going back!

Van was super nice and gentle. I wanted natural looking nails and she did the UV Gel without tips.

I got a full acrylic set on the 6th of December and had to get them removed on the 16th of December, that's how poorly they were done.First I had a previous nail set on my nails so I needed those removed.They had no issue with it however, the removal process was extremely uncomfortable, im not going to blame it all on the nail technician because I have very sentivie and thin nails, but when I flinched there was no apology or stopping she just yanked my hand back to continue the removal. The discomfort did not end there, throughout the application of my new set I kept getting burned by the file and the woman servicing me didn't care.Second, for my new nail set I wanted a french set but with black tips instead of white. The woman was applying the acrylic and I decided to change my mind to all black nails with white tips instead. I got all black nails instead.Third, the shellac color was chipping and peeling off on the sides only a day after application. Also the gap made between the acrylic and my cutical was too large, to the point that my 5 day nails looked like they had been on for 3 weeks.I got my nails removed at another salon and the man removing my nails commented to another technician and said now I see why you don't buy thin acrylic powder". Which I odd but made sense pertaining to the thinnes of the actual nail after application.I thought I found a good decently priced nail spot but the quality wasn't there for me. Keep in mind

Horrible! Nails were so thick and misshaped. They looked awful. Very amateurish. Paid $10 more than any other salon in the area. Had to have them redone elsewhere, as I did not trust them to redo them. Never again!
