When others couldn't, Kevin diagnosed the problem with my Volvo right away and put it right the same day. From here on, no one but Kevin will be working on my beloved 2002 Volvo S60.

It’s been a few years and only Kevin is allowed to touch my Mercedes, BImmer and Volvo. Kevin is just amazing at his work. He never skips out on cheap parts only uses OEM Genuine parts, his recommendation never to skimp out!Forget the “Stealerships” other other cons out there. I learned Lakeside Automotive from Google and brought my car there. The engine light went on and off. Kevin found the issue quickly, fixed it and changed oil within about one hour. It is normal that the engine light may come back later as the reason is sometimes complex, but Kevin has tried the most effetive way first without bluffing. His price is also fair enough. I will be the loyal customer!

Will not be returning. First it was 4 tries to fix the parking brake. This time is was a simple U Joint that was so badly installed it is a wonder if did not kill someone. It appears as though the interest level in working on a Volvo 240 is about zero. My interest in poor quality repairs is even lower.The clips are not seated fully and the Zirk fitting was either not installed or was not tightened. Had the driveshaft fallen out the result could have been serious injury or death, and almost certainly the car would have been destroyed.

I had a great experience with Kevin. He is probably the best Volvo mechanic in Barrie. I drove all the way from Toronto to have my Volvo XC60 properly serviced. He has a lot of experience and his price was fair. Finally, someone honest and reliable. I will come back!
