Dropped of a lg Monitor for repairer in November and I still have not received it. half the time I call no one picks up and when someone does pick up they give me some excuse and say call back next week and then give me another excuse. And when I ask for them to call for an update they never give me an update or call. They sound like nice people but I was told it would take a maximum of two weeks when I dropped it off in November and now it’s February and I still have not received it.

They had my LG TV warranty denied. Their technician came in once, took the TV apart, and said he needed to order a main board to fix it (despite the fact that he said it would probably be the main board when we set up the appointment two weeks earlier) . Next thing I know LG calls me denying my warranty, and telling me that the local technician informed them that the TV was being used commercially so they're denying the warranty. He didn't say anything to me about it when he was here, and left me with the impression that he would be back to fix the TV after ordering a part. The TV is not being used commercially, and I - so far - have been denied any chance to dispute the technician's assessment. Been trying to contact them since, but so far no one answers their phone (during business hours). Poor communication, poor service, and it seems as though their technicians have no problems misleading you.UPDATE: 03-11-16: After several more conversations with Mike at Hitek, he did take the initiative to contact LG directly. Eventually LG agreed to issue me a credit so I could get a replacement television. Mike followed up with me several times over the last month or so, and contacted me today to make sure that I was aware of LG's decision. Although my experience with Hitek did not start out well, once I was able to deal directly with Mike he showed an interest in making it right, and he followed through well. I am rating 3 stars because despite the fact that Mike was very helpful, he is only one person. My experience with their repair staff, and the fact that it is very difficult to get their front end staff to answer their phone leaves me with a 3 star rating. I would recommend using Hitek if you can talk with Mike.

Hitek Electronics Repair
I sent my AV receiver on March 27th and haven't gotten my unit back. Firs follow up was on April 9th and was being told they're waiting for the parts. I followed up through email two weeks after but got no response, I called many times but no one answered. Today May 18th I called the manufacturer to help me to follow up my unit, and this service center finally responded and just told me they're still waiting for parts. Two months and still waiting for parts?!?!?! Unbelievable!!!

I dropped off a 500.00 circuit board out of a stove. It was repaired by the end of the next day. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Actually...saved me the cost of a new stove.Service was excellent. Very friendly.I will only be taking my electronics there.

While it may be understandable for a repair to take longer if parts are on backorder, it is certainly inconvenient. I can empathize with the fact that some factors are beyond your control. However, what is not acceptable is the lack of communication regarding the status of the backordered parts, coupled with unanswered phone calls and unreturned voice messages. It is unreasonable for a customer to be left wondering for weeks on end without any updates.

Very poor service.I brought a Klipsch Reference series 60 standing floor speaker to them in the second week of July, under warranty and by request of Klipsch themselves, for a crossover issue.Face-to-face, they were polite and courteous and said they'd have it done and taken care of. Took my warranty information and photocopied it. Service with a smile.However, we're now at November's door and we have not heard from them. I have sent five polite, courteous e-mails to their e-mail address, no response. I have left voicemails on their answering machine, with my number, no call returned to me.By giving them so many kind, polite, courteous e-mails, I've given them so many chances to avoid a bad review like this. But when we can't even call me back after five months, come on, guys; you're asking for this at that point.

I took a Bose headset there over a year ago and I have been phoning him daily for over a couple weeks now and every time I get the same excuse, my tech guy must have lost them in our move, they could be in the warehouse. I finally asked what he was going to do about the problem and he said he would personally look for them, well so far nothing. We are talking over a 400 dollar set that has been misplaced, I dont think so. Never a return call and always the same excuse. I will continue writing reviews until this matter is dealt with or small claims court gets involved but one way or another I want my Bose headset back. I get the same guy every time and he acts surprised every time. I am tired of the excuses, find it.

I contacted Hitek after being referred to them by LG Canada for warranty repair on my 2016 model LG TV. Customer service on the phone was good and the process of giving them the correct information to proceed was easy.Parts were ordered in a completely reasonable timeline. I'd love to have overnight parts but they are at the mercy of LG or a parts supplier for shipping so no fault there.The new panel showed up right when they said it would. Their tech contacted me to set up an in-home repair. He showed up right on time, worked quickly and neatly while taking proper care. Friendly service and very professional.Typically warranty that involves repair instead of replacement can be a massive headache but these guys did pretty good. Thanks again.
