Updated: Customer Service is covering the shipping cost and issuing a full refund.I ordered solar post caps from Classy Caps in June of 2022. The caps arrived and felt cheap - particularly for the $30+ price point. While the stained glass is glass, everything else is plastic. In addition, many of the glass panes in the one box I opened were already cracked - this was not an issue with shipping as the caps were in their original packaging and the shipping box did not appear to be damaged at all. When I contacted the company to return them - in addition to the damage, they did not end up fitting our posts and they did not have the sophisticated look I was hoping for - I was informed that I could return them at my own expense. What I did not know when I ordered them was that I would need to return them to Canada from the US, which can get very expensive.

I purchased two classy caps for 6 by 6 aluminum sleeve post covers through Lowes. They're well-built sturdy aluminum with rippled glass inserts. They install easily thanks to the predrilled holes and fit a true 6 by 6 post. Unfortunately, one of the two I purchased would not light. It was not the battery because switching the battery did not help. I also allowed them to stay turned off while recharging for two days in sunlight. From Lowes, these had to be purchased in packs of two. I reordered another pack of two from Lowe's and initiated a return for the first two. The return process and reordering was excellent using the Lowes app. Fortunately, I did not return the first two until the second two arrived. Because again, one of the two in the new shipment would not illuminate. So, 50% of the four worked and 50% would not work. Switching batteries, testing batteries, and letting the units stay in sunlight to recharge did not help. The on/off switches are poorly made, were hard to switch, and on one of the units would not slide and looked rusty. I really like these lights I just wish the electronics we're of better quality because these are solidly built and very aesthetic.

Le tracking confirme que mon colis doit être livré depuis 7 jours, puis retardé pour des raisons hors de leur contrôle. Impossible de les rejoindre par téléphone, service à la clientèle absent. Je ne recommande pas.

I am very happy with the solar 4x4 post cap lights. Although I had a problem with the product staying lit, customer service responded quickly and resolved my issue. Very professional and pleasant to deal with!! I highly recommend Classy Caps.

Very happy with the solar caps for 6 posts. Bought three and all are working 6 months later. Look nice and stay lit for about nine hours. The time has shortened a bit but I assume that's because limited sun in winter. The cost was reasonable for the product. Well made. Only complaint is the set screw doesn't give you much room to hit the post. Need to make sure top of post is cut square."
