Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital Emergency room

Friday April 28 2023 - 3.5 hour spending in the waiting room and not even blood pressure I had checked. Very scary experience for a person who fainted earlier that day and may have had heart attack. What is happening with our country !

Only commenting on its history and what they do. Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital was founded in 1958, and its name was renamed and again reverted back in 2011 after merged with Credit Valley Hospital and Trillium Health Partners. It is a regional and teaching hospital in Mississauga Ontario Canada. It is specialized in Stroke, Cardiac, and Neurological Care for the the residents in the central and southern Mississauga area. Being one of the Ontario leaders in delivering exceptional patient care, they are continuously committed to providing the best they can to the people they care about. Thank you!

DO NOT VISIT the EMERGENCY here. Waiting for more than 4 hours and still have not been seen by a doctor. I am aware of the wait times in all the hospitals but I have been to st.Joes and Toronto Western hospital. Usually when you first check in the nurse will check on you and then you wait a doctor comes by 1-2 hour later and will instruct with whatever test needs to be done. Here, no one did any pre-assessment and we have been sent from the triage to RAFt. After waiting for 3 hours outside raft area, we were called and sat down on a bed. Now it’s been an hour since we were given a bed and not one person came to check in. It’s a DISASTER!

I had the worst experience coming to this hospital. I fall from the stairs and I can barely move, came through emergency at 10:00am and it’s already 12.30pm and still waiting for a doctor to check me.

Where are the rights of the child that you are talking about? My daughter has been in pain for more than five hours, and the doctor has not yet come.

Extremely short staffed and most of the time only one nurse entering you into the system as well as checking your blood pressure and doing your ECG literally at the same time. Even if you enter with high priority, you'll have to wait so long that you will definitely get a headache just waiting for a nurse to check in on you before the only doctor in the entire department comes in an spends only a couple of minutes with you, then disappears for another hour.

I apologize for taking 2 weeks to write this review. I received exceptional care and treatment from the team at Trillium when I had a lung biopsy on Mar.20/23. Erin, Jess, Russell, Veronica and the rest of the staff were phenomenal. My wife and I can't say enough about the super service that was delivered. We are so appreciative of the health care excellence that Trillium staff have demonstrated in so many ways over the past year. Thank you to everyone!

I arrived at 330am and it is now 730am. 4 hours of waiting and so far not seen a doctor. This emergency department is really a joke. Lots of staff walking about but not much action. Where are our taxes going?
