Amazing service!! They were able to fit me in the same day to check out the issue causing my engine light to appear. Tim took me through everything and showed me the damaged parts. Very friendly! Would definitely recommend.

Thanks so much to Tim and his staff, who had the expertise to handle a complicated total brake replacement on a model of Japanese SUV that has not been sold in North America since 2002. The worst service ever.. Travelling from BC to Calgary, my girlfriend and i got stuck in Banff because the alternator in my Honda Ridgeline broke down. I towed to the mechanic shop and it was worst decision i had ever made.At 8:00 am, I rushed there to see what can be done. Tim got my truck inside and said he will call me back as soon as he knows something. He called me back after 2 hours just to let me know that the Alternator is $500 and that it was the only one available in Canmore!! I knew this was a lie since I called the parts shop and confirmed that they don’t have one in store but can be ordered for around $400.I also knew that Alternators go for about $150-300 in Calgary depending on where you look. Having to experience this, I advice you to definitely not go through Tim in the case of an emergency. He will take advantage of your situation and quote you with an unreasonable price!I had asked him why the price was high and in response he asked me to collect my truck. Knowing it was an emergency, I agreed to have my alternator changed even-though it was ridiculously expensive. However, He refused to change the alternator and charged me for a half an hour inspection and battery charge. I was very disappointed!* Unreasonable crazy price, bad customer service and very unprofessional.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. We arrived from Winnipeg with our check engine light on and was able to walk in and get our vehicle checked out. The mechanic was top tier and actually took the time to sit down and explain the problems. We made it home safely and with peace at mind. Chii Miigwetch (thank you) Banff Auto Services!

In Banff on vacation when my truck started making a horrible screeching sound. An hour before closing Tim was able to squeeze me in and quickly solve my problem. A real life saver. Could not be happier. Highly recommend especially if you find yourself in a bind!

During our holiday to the Jasper/ Banff area in the week of June 5th, we encountered a slow puncture on our rental vehicle which unfortunately Avis were no help with.The staff at Banff Auto Services were more than welcoming, and had the offending screw out the tire in no time at all, while we were up one of the hikes in the area.The price was respectable, if not cheap for the fact they fit us in at such short notice.Thanks again to the staff, you saved a lot of hassle with our rental vehicle.

Thank you Tim for your outstanding service and saving my behind on a couple different occasions, one being just days before Christmas. No one wants to get work done on their vehicle before Christmas but the fact that you have accommodated me on such short notice and then having the work finished within hours, I have no words just utter appreciation. We were stuck in Banff with sudden vehicle issues on our road trip to BC. We knew that we needed oil for our truck, nothing more and we didn’t need any service other than to buy some oil. The man working was abrupt and unpleasant and seemed so annoyed that a young couple trying to make it home to BC for Christmas in -40 weather would come to a mechanic shop asking to buy oil. Finally he allowed us to purchase oil but he INSISTED on pouring it in the vehicle himself. He charged us $100 for 4L of oil, including a hefty labour charge for his hard work of pouring the oil into the engine. Luckily we are from Calgary so it’s unlikely we will ever need to use the services of this shop again. A little kindness and compassion goes a long way when you run a small business.Edit; yes I’m sure I have the right shop. The other 1 star reviews seem bang on for the service we received that day. The absolute worst service, zero compassion, and a business that takes advantage of people financially just because they can.

Outstanding Service!!We limped in from Vancouver and parked our truck outside of the garage.We knocked on the door at 8 the next morning. We didn’t have an appointment but Tim said he would do what he could as he was totally booked. At 2 o’clock he text to say the job was done. So great full as we were able to carry on to a family reunion in Edmonton. Banff Auto Services. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My buddy and I got a flat tire after work, was an emergency, they dropped everything and helped us out really quickly no questions asked, very helpful and friendly staff, highly recommend!
