We ordered the vegan platter. It was pretty good, but a little overpriced. We will be back to try more. I think it's great that there is a Filipino place that focuses on quality ingredients and offers vegan food. They also sell plant based sauces, which is nice too.

This was my first time trying Filipino food at a restaurant. I loved the experience, and the staff was so friendly and nice. My absolute favorite was the milkfish sisig. It was creamy, and I loved the fish as well. I loved how all the flavors were strong and rich in umami. I wasn't much of a fan of the tres leche, but I was absolutely in love with their Halo Halo, except I struggled handling it by myself. Bring a group of people so you could try a variety of menu items. Their menu literally accommodates different diets as well, which is a bonus. Definitely would come here to try their kamayan as well.

June 8, 2023: Worst Filipino food experience of my life. Has there been a change of management? It's not the Casa Manila I used to enjoy & rave about. The last time I was here was maybe 6-7 years ago. Food was atrocious! First, the lumpia didn't have flavour. It didn't seem it was even seasoned with any salt & pepper. It was sour & I am almost certain it didn't have onion. How could one mess up lumpia? The sauce that came with it was so watered down. The typical sweet chili sauce would have sufficed. Do better! Second, the sisig came out cold & it wasn't sizzling. It didn't even cook the egg. (see attached photo - we couldn't even eat it) We then saw other sisigs come out sizzling, which shocked us. We feel ours was sitting there for so long & wasn't taken out in time. You all probably thought we wouldn't notice. Do better! Lastly, the palabok didn't have any flavour whatsoever. No one even thought to bring lemons to go with palabok? What is happening? Even Jollibee has better palabok!! The service was bad. Our server didn't even bother asking how our food was. He only ever came once, to get our orders. That was it. It was so disorganized. The manager/owner, was going around to only the non-Filipinos to ask how the food was. That was so rude & unprofessional. Our opinions matter too. Also, you have been tone deaf when it comes to customer reviews. It has been noted numerously that you don't do proper ventilation in that restaurant. We came in there so smoky and my friend was very nauseous because all the smoke in the kitchen was being wafted to the dining area. This is not a great environment for people with respiratory issues. To the foreigners out there who are so eager to try our cuisine, please go elsewhere. I would recommend Tinuno for kamayan. If you want to do proper, quality food and service, go to Max's Restaurant. I AM NEVER GOING BACK HERE EVER AGAIN!

We had an amazing Filipino dinner at Casa Manila yesterday. My wife is from Pampanga. We have been to some other restaurants in Ontario in the past, but none with traditional Filipino cuisine as good as it was here. The atmosphere feels like being in the Philippines too and the staff were so pleasant. We are absolutely coming back here very soon. The Manila chicken curry was my personal favourite and they made it extra spicy for me.We shared some lumpia and BBQ chicken skewers to start, then enjoyed some crispy Pata, pancit palabok, and pinakbet. Finished off the meal with leche flan and ultimate halo-halo.A pitcher of calamansi juice was refreshing.Masarap.

Kamayan seafood premium plate #3 at price of just under per person $47plus tax and tip...quality was not worth the price. Seafood was warm not hot. Shrimp skewer had to be sent back because it was cold! Service was great and wait staff was sweet but if your coming for this Premium seafood platter was far from premium! Mandarin would have been a better choice and Mandarin is never a good choice for me, overall skip this place and save your money!

The appetizer is sour soup, top notch. This was my first experience with Philippine food and I am ready to try more. Flavorful, colorful and interesting. Some difficulty communicating with some of the staff but regardless very nice. Would definitely recommend to try one of the combos. It's fun, sharable and it feels quite homely. Would go again next time I'm around!

Came here for winterlicious lunch. The decor and atmosphere was nice but seating was very cramped. Somehow the mismatched chairs and random variety of decor worked well together creating a warm earthy atmosphere. We ordered the tamarind soup and empanada to start. Fried milk fish and Pork in a ginger coconut sauce with shrimp paste. Dessert was ube parfait and fried crepe. The tamarind soup was nice and sour. It was really sour so might not be for everyone. The empanada was disappointing. The dough is very chewy and mainly just stuffed with potatoes eventhough there suppose to be chicken in it.The pork main course came out cold. But they were nice to reheat it. But even the 2nd time around the plate was hot, but the food was still jusy slightly warmer. I wouldve liked more of thr ginger and shrimp paste flavor in the sauce, but it was mainly just coconut. Pork was tender but unremarkable. The fried milk fish was really good and worth trying. Can really go wrong with fried fish though in general.Ube parfait was very sweet and too much mousse. The sweetness overpowered the ube flavor. The fried crepe was not actually crepe but spring roll wrappers. The inside had a bit of jackfruit in it which was nice.Overall, average food, but still good to try.

I came here the other day as it has been a while since I last had food from the Philippines. The location of this place is fine as it is easy to find but parking is very limited and ideal for smaller cars.Upon entry with the decor and music it really does take you as if you were in the Philippines. We were greeted by nice staff but very oddly we were not provided the menu right away for whatever reason that ay have been and had to request for it.The drinks we ordered was odd as well as they were provided separately to us with a significant time between the delivery of the two drinks. As for the food we ordered vegetable bicol and Manila chicken and steamed rice to go with both. The vegetable bicol was nice as the flavors were there but for it to be eaten with rice the coconut aspect could have been more creamy as it makes the rice a bit on the dry side. The Manila chicken was a curry dish really due to the tumeric that's in it, and this to was flavorsome but I felt could have used a bit more salt but that's a minor thing as the dish was creamy, and the chicken portion was reasonable. After our meal we had to wait for a significant amount of time to ask for our bill before we eventually got up and had to ask for the bill.Overall food was nice but service needs improvement but I'm just unsure if it was due to lack of employees or not. With that being said if I was to go here I will just do takeaway only.
