West Coast Christian School

Alumni. When I attended this school they preached that homosexuality was the result of demonic possession. They also preached that a woman's place is behind her husband, no matter what their dreams and goals were. The teachers here were incompetent and hired solely because they were members of the church. My education was incredibly lacking, many of the teachers taught multiple classes during the same block and were absent during certain blocks due to this. They also never did anything about bullying, and had a staff member look up girl's skirts to make sure we were wearing shorts underneath. WCCS is antiquated and irrelevant. Send your children somewhere that cares about THEM, not just about turning them into good Christians.

West Coast is an awesome school for children learning to live by God’s word. I had some terrible experiences at my old school but after I left and came to this school I have been a better person and have been doing exceedingly well academically compared to my old school where my grades were “ok” but I recommend West Coast Christian for all youth searching for a new learning experience! 10/10!

My four children attended this wonderful school. Christian foundations and quality academics are provided by competent teachers who sincerely care for students.

WCCS is more than a school, it is in fact a big family in which everyone cares for the other!

Hello, I went to this school for 8 years! It’s very small but at times that’s actually good, one thing I wish they had more of would be clubs and really after school programs. I also wish they had a gym since I feel like there should be one... it has a nice sense of community and bonds between students. I enjoyed the chapel service every Friday. Most of the teachers I’ve had have been nice, even though some have not been nice. Ultimately I left since I felt the high school program did not offer me enough, especially considering the fact that it was private school. It’s a good school with good people and good teachers and good curriculum based around Christian teachings.:)

My son recently transitioned to WCCS from our public catchment school. At first we weren't sure what to expect, but we have been so pleased with both the quality of education and the positive community. Some things that resonate well with our family: smaller class sizes, no electronic screen time at the elementary level, lots of time outdoors, a diversity of families coming from all around the world, and involvement in service projects and social justice.

I am an Alumni of West Coast Christian School, I attended this school since grade 6 and I stayed until I graduated at this school. At my time at West Coast, I have been able to feel a sense of community, and be able to have teachers that cared about my grades, and all the students are nice. I have always felt safe and respected at West Coast Christian, and I have never experienced any kind of bullying in my time at West Coast Christian. If you are looking for a new school, I recommend this school. :)
