I cannot sing enough praises for this program. My partner has experienced horrific abuse their entire life and has suffered extreme anxiety and depression because of it. The Newly provides a holistic approach that addresses every aspect of mental health and has helped my partner found healing and create skills to help her in her everyday life. Thank you to the Newly for everything you’ve done to save my partners life.

I can’t say enough good things about The Newly. Their holistic approach to recovery is unmatched- from pharmacotherapy to trauma informed yoga and everything in between. The staff are knowledgeable and caring and provide a wide range of expertise. Even family members are supported as their loved ones take their journey to recovery. I will be forever grateful and continue to recommend The Newly to any of my friends and family that are struggling with addiction, trauma, depression, etc.

I cannot say enough about Newly - it really is a life changing program that I would recommend to anyone! Not only did I receive fantastic therapy sessions with ART, I also saw and worked with a psychiatrist about a half dozen times. The flexibility of the program is also so important for those who are still working while attending this therapy. Newly did what I don’t think any other therapy or program could have done - after experiencing trauma, the program helped me to process it and get back to my wonderful life and family.

Hello,I was referred through WCB to The Newly. I did not find Newly to be all that helpful. The staff are helpful good people with well meaning intentions. However the program in and of itself is not as tailored to the individual as they claim it to be. As well you have a social worker masquerading as a music therapist leading a drum circle, professionals being forced out of their elements (lovely people but is a Kinesiologist officially qualified to teach CBT, is an OT actually allowed to teach ACT? Would you have a plumber doing your electrical?) . The staff have a high turnover as well and can't seem to be able to put up with it themselves.I received help through veterans affairs that helped. They have had their complaints as well about Newly, it seems very hard to make an official complaint as the presidents are businessmen and not actually medical professionals so are not responsible to AHS or anyone official.I want everyone to get well, the staff are good people but the business model is broken. I suppose they figured out a way to get themselves forwarded all the referrals from WCB. I don't care how much money they make, it can't come at the cost of somebody else's health.Even the City doctor was surprised, he expected me to have a medical doctor give me an assessment before starting treatment. Never once in 4 months did I ever see a doctor in the building. I bet they exist on paper but not in person.I hope you can look at yourself in the mirror president,

Edit after reply. This company was contacted during the week following discharge and they never got back to us! This review is not the only route of complaint made and zero response from The Newly Institute.Highly discourage you. They provide a water container on sign up. Perfect for recovering alcoholic to relapse and hide their drinking habit. No consideration to family needs or significant others and trigger happy. A Kinesiologist was the caseworker for PTSD!I would like to see the research of their practice that states body awareness, drum circles, and yoga assists in recovery. My partner was discharged after I found him drunk asleep at home. When he was supposed to be caring for my childen. The Newly Institute was informed.Malpractice has been reported. My partner kicked out and sent to AHS for real true rehab.Do not use this company. Even in making a complaint you are not heard and dismissed.

I’m a first responder suffering from C-PTSD. My condition was difficult to treat and I was miserable when the Newly was referred to me by a friend. The staff at the Newly were absolutely the most caring and dedicated professionals I’ve ever met. My recovery was of the highest priority to them, and I felt supported and listened to while I attended the program. My OT ran interference with my company and with WCB, advocating for my health when I didn’t know how to. Although I am unable to return to the front lines, I have my life back. I’m returning to a different position with a different company and will once again be a fully functioning member of society. My wife says she has her husband back and I’m a present father to my kids once again.Thank you to the Newly for returning my health, helping me to understand the nature of my injury and preparing me for my return to work. I’ll never forget what you’ve done for me. A simple 5 star review doesn’t seem like enough.

Our family experience has been wonderful. I would say that the readiness, the intention to heal and the courage to confront our own story / circumstances are essential ingredients. Overall the team and process created a safe place for the journey. We would recommend anyone consider Newly — for those who are ready.

If you are a trauma survivor with Complex PTSD/depression/anxiety, steer clear of this ‘Institute’. Although they talk a good story, they are either incompetent or greedy or both. My psychiatrist there recommended MORE Ativan when I told them I was crying and crashing after four of six Ketamine assisted therapy sessions. He referred to this as having therapeutic breakthroughs when in fact I was overloaded with medications, both Ativan (a short acting Benzodiazepine and very addictive), and a LOT more Gabapentin than I had been taking (increased from 200 mgs to 1500+). I voluntarily signed into the psychiatric ward of a hospital for help withdrawing from the medication and with the depression and anxiety I was suffering from and hoped the Ketamine assisted therapy would help with. I was desperate for help, so much so I paid $7500 for six sessions. Ketamine assisted therapy is doing a lot of good for many people but don’t waste your money at The Newly.
