Very poor customer service in the Customer Care Centre"Representative was rude and of no assistance. I had received a pamphlet with my monthly bill offering a free "energy saving kit". The representative went on to ask if I had a gas hotwater heater (yes) and when was the last time I used it???? I asked why she needed to know how often I used MY home. I currently pay a monthly service fee to maintain my service

Greedy company. Lied about many things of their programs that is supposed to help community or homeowners for energy conservation. It's hoax. I have zero respect for their customer service. I'm wholly disgusted with Enbridge. I'm trying to go gas-free. They charge too much and rates are increasing. I'm disgusted with record" profit they made off our backs. Enbridge - full of horrible customer service and unfortunately we don't have much of choices out there."

#Enbridge GasI'm sharing this for the caring, small community that I live in. Everything said in the following post is true and we are all feeling the loss and indescribable pain for the owner as he now navigates through dealing with the gas company, the loss of his home and more recently, his lovely wife Deb.Enbridge Gas should be ashamed. This is a company that does not care about community or customers.On May 10, a mobile home in our park burned. It could not be saved. In order for it to be demolished, Enbridge needs to disconnect the meter and clip the gas line.Almost two months later, residents in the park continue to see a burned out home, smell the burned out wood and live a constant reminder of the tragedy. The owner cannot begin to move forward rebuilding his life on the property.The couple burned out of their home were also dealing with another tragedy. She had Stage 4 cancer. She passed away two days ago. It would have been nice had she seen some progress on her new home and perhaps, had something to look forward to instead of living in a seasonal trailer.Enbridge Gas should be completely ashamed and I ask that you all share this. Perhaps we can be a squeaky oil and help Dave as he copes with no home and the loss of his wife.

When enquiring about service to our commercial property I was told because the gas main is 1.4 kilometres away I would have to pay $78,000 to have the main extended to my property line. I would then need to add an additional $7,500 to have a service point in my property because the mail road is 650 feet from the point where I would need it to be in my building.During this conversation with Union Gas I felt that my enquiry was treated as a great big joke and as such am disappointed that more of Ontario's rural business cannot access natural gas for heating with their enquiries for natural gas taken more seriously.I am still the prisoner of commodity traders - who trade oil at their whim - as we use heating oil for our premises and both the Canadian federal and Ontario provincial governments who I also consider think more of tax revenue collection than they do about people and their everyday challenges.

Terrible mess since they took over Union Gas. They are over-estimating my gas use EVERY SINGLE MONTH by A LOT. The last time I contacted them about it, they apologized and said they would correct my bill, and here we are a few months later and even though I've been overcharged on every single bill for months, but still paid - thinking they will eventually correct it, they now have billed me for February to September AGAIN, ignoring ALL my payments for all those months. WHAT IS GOING ON with these people in the billing department? I'm going to make a complaint to the ombudsman. Enough is enough!!

They charged me for someone else's bill. When notified, they wouldn't fix the issue and told me to personally procure the money for the bill that they were inappropriately charging me. They followed this up by threatening to send me to collections if I didn't agree to becoming their personal debt collector.Based on this logic... if someone owes you money just write up an invoice to the CEO of Enbridge gas, if he claims that you invoiced the wrong person, tell him that you don't care that he must pay it and he has to figure out how to get the money from the person that actually should be paying the bill. If Enbridge Gas can do this so can you!

Enbridge Gas' Chatham office is the central location for Enbridge's Ontario based gas storage and supply business. Essentially, all of Ontario's natural gas supply is handled through this location - working in conjunction with Enbridge Gas Inc's Toronto head office, and Enbridge Inc's Calgary headquarters.With the 2017 acquisition of Spectra Energy (incl. it's subsidiary Union Gas) Enbridge now procures, stores, transports, and distributes natural gas to all Ontario residential, commercial, and industrial customers - some 3.8 Mil. delivery points. With the province's daily energy demand in the form of natural gas being ~2.6x greater than its daily electricity demand it clearly makes the natural gas utility the most significant and important utility of all. Without it we could not function as we do! Thus, Enbridge Gas underpins every Ontarian's livelihood and quality of life (at home and at work).Over the past two plus decades Enbridge Gas has made great strides in modernizing its business processes and facilities. And with the merger of Enbridge Gas Distribution and Union Gas the next generational upgrade to an even safer, more efficient (and environmentally friendly) natural gas infrastructure network is now underway. Major safety improvements and efficiency upgrades are presently in design and construction - with much more to come! While the greenification of the carbon industry is a top priority, the ever increasing number of customer delivery points (e.g., new houses) also means Ontario needs more transportation and delivery capacity province-wide - and demand will only go up as our population continues to grow.One major demand driver is Ontario's surge in indoor farming (i.e., greenhouse based food production). This industry expansion increases Ontario based jobs and reduces long-haul transportation needs (i.e., a significant carbon consumer) to get Ontario's grocery stores stocked. Thus, Enbridge Gas expanding Ontario's natural gas delivery capabilities is in fact an environmentally friendly development; and it also supports the province's job market (in the short-term and long-term).In summary, natural gas is a vital utility for all Ontarians - at home and at work. Enbridge Gas makes it happen - safely, reliably, and responsibility. And Enbridge's Chatham office is central to all of it.

Habitat for Humanity since May 3rd 2017 has been trying to have a tracer wire fixed in order to have a locate done to allow 13 families to finish their new home journey, however, customer service is email and Head Office Google Number is incorrect. I hope someone can reach out to us. They did! and I have changed my review because they got back, apologized and corrected the problem within 72 hours.
