Amazing experience! The food was delicious and the chef was very sweet! It's a bit expensive (check the photos from the menu prices) and the quantities are very small so don't go expecting it will fill you up lol. I had the EDO course. But you're really paying for the experience and the quality of the food.

Highly recommend this authentic Japanese resto. The Chef was so kind and accommodating. He even made a homemade rice porridge (that wasnt on the menu) for our kid and it was delicious! You can tell every dish was made with such care and devotion. Everything tasted amazing including the homemade ginger ice cream for dessert! Would defs go back!

I had my birthday dinner here. This is a place full of Zen, although it is small, it reflects the owner's intentions everywhere.I ordered the omakase set even though it was the most expensive one. The owner (he is also a chef and waiter) tried his best to prepare every dish. The taste was very good and the presentation was exquisite. I was very satisfied. My favorite was Sashimi, especially the scallops which are fresh, crisp and sweet. The ginger ice cream was the highlight and I loved it too! I will definitely come back to try other sets in the future. P.s. Please make an appointment in advance.

Lovely little restaurant where you feel youbhave your own private chef. Cozy atmosphere, unpretentious but delicious food with beautiful presentation. Highly recommend to try for date night or an outing with a friend. The owner/chef presents the food to you and explains each dish. Really a hidden gem in Montreal and a must try if you're looking for Japanese food that is different and authentic.

I go to Jardin Iwaki every time I’m in Montreal for a good reason!! The food is consistently incredible, the chef puts such effort into each bite, and he is so kind. The seven courses (Iwaki) meal is a steal and so tasty. The restaurant only has a few tables, so it feels like you have a private chef for the evening. Overall great experience every time I go, I’m never disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem of Montreal! The food is absolutely amazing and the chef really takes pride in details and good quality ingredients. The service is slow since he is the only chef and waiter. However, I truly didn’t mind since every plate was worth it. This was my second time going with my family, the menu didn’t change much but there are 3 menus for you to choose. Also, for the quality of the food, the price is incredible! You must come to this place, you will not regret it!!

Such a cute place. Run by an old Japanese man who is both the cook and the waiter. The courses are all good some better than others and of course the menu changes all the time. The bathroom is an experience - it’s in the moldy basement and is like an old UK bathroom from the 1970s.

A one man show. It was extremely moving to see him at work, shuffling in the kitchen, and courteously providing service to the tables. As far as the food goes, it is simple and homely, at best. A lot of its appeal comes from the context in which they are served…
