Once I found the sign to Goju Ryu behind a pile of ploughed snow in the deep of winter I saw a well cared-for facility with the most beautiful GSDs. Josy was friendly and professional, and clearly passionate about her work and her dogs. I was impressed with the extent of her services: breeder, obedience trainer/handler, boarding kennels. I would recommend Goju Ryu Pro-K9 to anyone looking for these services.

Josy is a great trainer and boarding services are very good. Josy really understands dogs, is accommodating and is passionate about her work. Definitely recommend her business for boarding and training.

I am a breeder in the lower mainland of a very powerful breed of bulldog . I sent my intact 1 year old male to josy in Hope's she could help with his out of control" behaviour on a leash . I drove 8 hours to drop my dog off and upon arrival I was extremely impressed with josy and her facility. Everything was extremely clean and welcoming and josy was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. When I came back to get my dog 2 weeks later josy took the time to train myself and my spouse everything she had trained my dog and he was a completely different animal on leash . I was so impressed I have sent my other dogs to her and in all of my puppy contracts going forward have to send there puppies to josy for training . I will never send any of my dogs to any other trainers"

I purchased my GSD over 2 years ago from Josey. Throughout that process Josey was very accommodating allowing me to come and meet the pups twice before making my final purchase.Very pleased with my dog, excellent temperament and great working capabilities. Anytime that I've called Josie she remembers me and helps me out with any questions, recommendations or concerns I've had. Through Josey I found a club in Prince George to train my dog with and I've made new friends and relationships with people who are awesome.In all great experience and if I do get another working shepherd it will be from her.

We purchased a GSD off of her and had her train the dog as well. We were very happy with the dog and the training. We love our dog so much hopefully we will get another one from her when the time comes. We also use the kennel service and are also pleased with this service.

We brought our Husky cross pup (8 months at the time) to Josy for her 2-week board and train. Being first time dog owners, with a challenging breed on our hands, we knew we wanted to invest in some professional training. Our pup was difficult to walk on leash, and had bratty behaviour. Josy helped us out big time. We returned to a different dog, who was eager to please, ready to learn and way more obedient. Not only did Josy train our dog, she changed our mindsets as dog owners as well. Her training session with us was very helpful, and we committed to carrying through her training regimen right up until now. Big difference in our pup’s behaviour and we enjoy training with our pup! Josy is professional, knowledgeable and owns an excellent facility for training. Worth the 10 hour drive for us!

We took our 6 month old Jackrussel x to Josey for her 2 week in house training. We did it at the right time because we were almost at our wits end with a puppy who had no manners chewed everything didnt listen just was a high wired crazy dog. After the 2 weeks and we got to go for our training session with Josey and our dog Roxy she was like a new dog she learned some manners she has learned to focus which is so huge in a dogs world. I work with my dog almost everyday even on walks just because you can tell it makes her feel good and proud of herself. Josey changed my family and our dogs life for the better 100% I would recommend her she is great with dogs. Not to mention the bond me and my dog have been able to make now.. before I was a frustrated puppy mum.

Josy does an amazing job I have taken obedience classes with her in a group setting. My husband sent his dog for board and train for 2 weeks then had lessons for him with his dog when he picked her up. He was very pleased with the results and highly recommends Josy and Goju-Ryu Pro - K9
