If you head out to Madeline Island, make sure you stop here so you can see the whole island by moped.Staff was super friendly and explained everything really well. I’ve never driven a moped before, so I was thinking about dipping out and just getting a bike or e-bike. The staff member (wish I would have gotten her name) talked me into it after having my doubts and explained everything thoroughly and I’m so glad she did - it was one of the best parts of the trip. We were out for about two hours, but I would’ve loved to spend the day cruising on that thing.It was $30 a person per hour and well worth it. Helmets were provided as well. Make sure to bring sunglasses and a mask as well.If you’re a newer rider, you’re able to practice in the lot next door to get the hang of things.Can’t wait to do this again!

My boyfriend & I went there yesterday with the intention of renting mopeds. We're both bartenders and planned on leaving a fat tip for the person who got us all set up. Well, after my 2 questions were answered with an alarming attitude, we knew it was time to leave. I asked, Where's the bar?" The reply received was

Skip the cost of taking a vehicle on the ferry, instead just walk two blocks into La Pointe and rent a bike or moped. We had reserved a day in advance and had bikes for the day so we could ride to Big Bay State Park to hike and swim - it was perfect. Great service. Great quality Trek bikes. Love that they were patient to ensure our helmets fit.

Rented two E-bikes and had a great time on Madeline Island. Very friendly and easy to work with. Planned originally to do mopeds but glad we did the E-bikes. Made the trip easier!

Beware, we won’t be back.They put myself (I’m 5”) and my 10 year old son on a tandem bicycle. Which after a block down the road was very obvious it wasn’t safe for us to be riding.Went back refused to give us or money back but offered two single rusty bikes. We were charged for all the bikes and an additional quarter of an hour, because of the exchange!There are no shoulders & many winding roads on the route he provided for us, we would have surely ended in an accident of some nature on the tandem bike.When I asked him about the bill he just clearly did not care about the people on the bikes just how much the shop was going to make.Hope Motion To Go has an extensive insurance policy as they do not value the safety of their customers.

My wife and I rented the mopeds for a day, and had one of the best times of our lives. They were easy to drive,, and we were able to see the entire island and spent time on two different beaches, had a picnic at an overlook. The staff was awesome and made sure we understood how to drive them; they even had an area where we did a little practice run. If you go to the island, this is a must do adventure. I always said id NEVER ride one of those dumb things, turned out to be a memory of a life time! We rode up to the park and around the lake. They guys make sure you know what you are doing so you can feel confident and comfortable while driving one! I went for the older style white one it goes faster the nicer looking black one :)

Rented a couple mopeds for checking out the Island, my bride and I had a blast!

We rented two mopeds. One had clearly been in an accident before we used it. It has a taped seat and scratches all on one side. We returned it in the same shape it was received. 10 mins after checking out we received a call that a blinker light fell off...same side as all the previous damage. They charged us to fix this when it was clearly caused by the previous accident... It sure feels like this charge for damage" is part of the business model. I would never rent from this place again. They were unwilling to budge on charging us. They didn't check over the bike when we checked outThis conveniently happened after we left."

Savannah was great in showing us the ins and outs of riding a moped. This is a must do if you are on the island without any wheels". We had the road to ourselves most the way. The beach at the end is full of great rock finds."
