Melted my gold here. After melting it he ran it through his tester. 12.1karat. I felt this was not correct so I went upstairs and had it retested because I knew it was of a higher karat. Turns out the guy upstairs knew the gold stock" scam very well. Re test came back as 14.7 karat. Also I lost 12 grams of weight from a 400 gram melt. He refused to hand over the slag which contained a large quantity of gold and got very insulted. I hate to talk bad about a local business but beware!!!!!"

Unfortunately offering me $2200 on gold when its currently $2440 Cad is to much of a rip off for me accept. I understand I can’t get 100% of what I paid for it but taking 10% of its value off with 0 willingness to negotiate is hilarous
