I recently purchased a cubic yard bag of premium" vegetable and garden soil mix. The soil is terrible and just hardened immediately in the beds; when it gets water the water sits on top and the whole mixture is very clay like. It also has a number of larger rocks in it. It's entirely not appropriate for gardens as I intended
