They have 80 cats for adoption but you have to make an appointment. They will not take valenteers from schools. I'm sure they put you through the ringer if you try to adopt an animal. They have a great outdoor cat shelter but they never put cats in there not even in the summer. My friend try to adopt 2 cats for his farm for outdoors and this was not allowed. If you try to adopt a cat for a birthday present or Christmas gift that's not allowed. It's time to lighten up your rules. I think it's inhumane to hord cats.

We adopted 2 kitties from the Humane Society. You can tell that the animals there are loved and well taken care of. Both our boys were neutered, had all there shots and were chipped. The kennels are super clean and the volunteers are super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a new pet, I highly recommend you check them out

I know the animal shelter here in Lethbridge is ausume place! The people that work there are very deticated to the animal's and the people that need their help .I have had a lot of help through them. I had two, one dog and one cat, that was just over eighteen. I'm actually looking for another dog, where I live the dog can't be more than thirty lbs. It's a fabulous organization that rescues and rehomes dogs and cats. There are so many incredible pets there so if you're considering getting a dog or cat, go here first!!!!!

Super caring organization. Dropped off a kitty I found on the highway after fostering her for a couple weeks. they helped us get her the care she needed. The Staff is amazing and the animals are all very very well cared for. If your looking to adopt this is definitely the place to go!

I adopted one of the best dogs ever from here. Unfortunately I he developed prostate cancer 2 years later. The vet says it happens often I'm dogs who are neutered later in life. He was about 4 when neutered. Please say and neuter your pets while they're young. No one should have to go through the agony he did, and no owner should have the shock and heartbreak we did. Plus, it will help keep stray populations down,which means fewer animals in shelters and more funding fir the ones that are there. Please be responsible owners. They depend on you, just like a child does.

Nice girls, but the place is a dump on the inside and not inviting to the public at all. There is stuff everywhere even at the Receptionist desk, what ever happened to taking pride in where you work. Clean it up, make it more inviting.
