It’s ok if this is your first time attending such an event. Considering that entrance fee is not that cheap (we paid more than 50$ for 5 people), not much is included - just a trail with few educational stations. The biggest disappointment was that there were no traditional pancakes with syrup. There were few food trucks and goods for sale. Wagon rides were 2$ each. Next year we will go to a different place.

This place is a great spot to visit for maple syrup events near the city! It's a very educational area with super knowledgeable staff and good displays about the history of maple syrup! There is a maple syrup trail with tapped trees on display from traditional methods of extracting sap, to more modern methods! There are stations along the way where demonstrations are held, and the staff will happily answer any questions along with a brief history of their demonstration! Near the end, you can also have samples of the maple syrup! Aside from this, there was a fun quick life-sized fence maze along with a do-it-yourself tree top trekking. It has a big course with lots of variations from obstacles low on the ground, to very high net covered areas! Overall this place is a fantastic area for fun and to educate anyone on maple syrup!

Loved the experience of the maple syrup festival. The volunteers did a great job showing everyone how that step of maple syrup was done. The food trucks had ice cream and food. We loved the chicken strips. My kids loved the maze as well.

Overall a great experience. Kids loved the outdoor trail to learn about maple trees and maple syrup. Wagon ride was offered for $2 but it felt short and wasn't much to see on the ride. It did a short circle. There was a maple syrup sample but not syrup sap on ice (which we had at a different trca festival). Would definitely do it again but I would set my expectations.

Great experience. I applaud the TRCA staff for standing on their feet speaking to public and making maple syrup so interesting.

It was a beautiful day, the employees were very informative, friendly and welcoming. “Very entertaining, allot of fun and enjoyed the syrup tasting! I feel like I learned allot. A few more interactive things would be cool” - quote from my 13 year old son.

I love the sugar bush. Try to go every year. This location is very conveniently close to Toronto while feeling like you're stepping back in time a little bit. It's good for a couple hours visit. Just one big complaint - The food truck served TABLE SYRUP with the pancake breakfast, and I have to hold the sugar bush accountable for allowing that.

Great environment to learn about maple syrup and how it came to be, from the past to the present. The volunteers, I think, with the conservation, were enthusiastic in sharing their knowledge. They were amazing!

Our experience here was great! There are many educational demonstrations! We tried the maple syrup at one station too! The kids also got a chance to try drilling the tree! The staff are very nice and eager to answer questions! We love the entire experience! We had 3 young kids and we spent almost 3 hours there! There was a tree walk as well, yet we didn't have much time, so we didn't know the price for that! We had a great lunch there, the waffles and pancakes were so delicious!
